To ALL djs PLEASE READ I have an idea!!!

yesterday there was a party organized by cm at jizzys and while we were dancing I thougt to bad the music isnt synced .
THEN I GOT AN IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!When there is a party (this whill be notified in advance lets say 7 days )the dj will play the party music on Argonath radio!!!
we are then atleast all listening to the same music and -depending on the connection-its more or less synced !!!Djs could also anounce contests etc
WHAT DO YOU THINK ????I'd love some feedback!!

Well, If you want I'll get most of the DJs on TS and we could have like 3 or more DJs on at once.
 :ps: Before any DJs start saying, whoa that isn't possible, it will lag like hell. No it wont. I've done it before and it works perfect the only problem would be communication and some people don't like hearing themselves on TS but they may have to deal with it. No major issues I don't think.

Well not all at once but maybe you could take turns so the others can party , I want everyone to listen to the same music to give it a more realistic feel
btw I dont hope you mean streaming the music over teamspeak??! , thats just horible sound quality I believe 96 kbits/sec to be the bare minimum
but im a big supporter of the use of teamspeak to help keep the main chat as uncrowded as possible with the extra players in 0.2 I can sometimes barely read it

I'll sure give it a try but it will be hard. I'll have a talk with all DJs and I'll host a show with all of us.

look Ill leave the technical part to you guys but like I sayd where do you plan to play the music?? not on teamspeak that sounds like a phone..

But sure as far as Im concerned all the djs can take part you just have to coordinate ...

I believe that Team Speak is fine because the Argonath Radio channel codec is of a high quality but the only problem will be communication. When I speak everyone in the radio channel on TS will be able to hear it (OBVIOUSLY) and everyone will be able to hear themselves speak on the radio channel in TS, I'll be able to hear myself speak so we will all have to deal with it on TS, nothing much I can do about it.

Basically, the idea is that I'll say when the song is about to finish and they a DJ can speak and we can all have a big DJ conversation over TS about the party and the songs played, then I'll announce the next song or whatever, NOTE to DJs: We will need to make a long playlist so all DJs add me on MSN (That are taking part) I'll download songs if I don't have them, we will all negotiate and create a big playlist of songs for the party. So for example... say DJ Trojan, DJ Dave, DJ John, DJ D.Smokes, DJ Petey are taking part... On MSN I would choose a song to be on the playlist then Dave will chose then John then D.Smokes... and so on. We will all take it in turns to choose a song for the playlist. Then when the time comes, I'll put the playlist on the broadcaster and we will have a good amount of songs chosen by all DJs.

sorry for the late responce was caught up in the technical discussion ...
Isn't the 28th a Thursday?...It rather have it in the weekend so most people are free , Saturday the 30th perhaps ??or is there a server party I'm forgetting about ?...than it could be a good "beta" for cheqing the sync etc so it can be used for future party's

Jizzys was really loaded with people having fun last Saturday so I say lets have more partys there !!! including this one !

It was nice to see a populated Sf and a lot less cops and realll good roleplay!!I enjoyed myself!!!
