Should carjacking be allowed the 2.1 script come ?

It will be great if with the new script carjacking will be allowed i mean you get jacked you call 911 .IF a suspect is chased by a cop on the walkside he can go and jack a civilian that waits for green light
It will be more RP ...Why there is /lockcar command if jacking isn't allowed

In some words :With the new script
Carjacking should be allowed , you get jacked you call 911 , (always remind to lock your car)
It will be moree role play...
I know some ppl may abuse it , but with the new script the rp rate will increase (anims/another chat system/more role play)


So people won't jack with no reasons.....
IF sombody chase you to shoot on the road side you go and jack someone or do somthing...
i know it isn't a good idea and please don't flame

But i think it will be more role play...
Why would you allow this ?

Why we have the /carlock command ?
For example: You drive to the City Hall to make your passport. Perhaps you have a great car (tuned etc.)
So you do not wanna loose it. You use the command /carlock. So nobody can steal your car. If you finished the test you can get into your car and you can drive away.

I think if carjacking would be allowed in will end in a big chaos.

How many of those cars are stolen because the driver is thrown out of the car and the thief drives away ?

Gandafl you should give us an answer :P.And carhartt why would you lock the car when you know ther's a rule that forbbiddens the carjacking??he jack you , you report he get frozen (in 2 sec) and take your car back.....and there aren't to many carjackers...

Please Gandalf give us an answer xD I mean tell us is there any chance for this rule to be allowed ?

How do you know that someone has taken your car if you are in the city hall. Do you expect the admins to freeze 70-90 players just because someone couldnt be arsed to type /carlock? I don't think so.

This is not for RP.... just to piss people off, carjacking = ok with reason...but new players think reason = I want to RP hijacker.

So what about limo  bus and taxi drivers?  Oh look a customer, you unlock and get higacked... your modded car gone and all u can do is /call 999 , which isn't noticable by police and I dont think reaches as far as /l ... so not much help :S

Police need to be able to rip people out of cars. A lot of dumbasses keep driving away and we need something.

I agree with Jcstodds. Withing reason, jacking might be okay, but this would end in a huge mess. If someone just jacks your car then your fairly screwed, then if you spent thousands to tune the car and whatnot, you just lost a big investment.

Oh, and by the way, it has been documented that the admins don't or can't always just freeze someone when something like car jacking is reported. If something is done, then by the time it is, your car is long gone in Los Venturas when it was taken in Los Santos. Besides that, when there's anywhere from 50-100 people online daily, and usually a 1 to 50 admin to player ratio, it's safe to say that if something goes down that isn't something so major that every admin is going to jump on it, your f-...well...your screwed.  :redface:

If u allowe that, u get many NewPlayers. Who think its cool that they stole a car and Police gonna chase them down. And second problem u get many Cop command abusers. And if criminal is goin to surrender then Cops gonna DM  :cool: is it a good idiea, i think No

this will end up with people trying to Steal your car all the time.. i ask myself.. why do people want to change the RULES?.. the DMing and Misbehaving IS already too high of a point for admins to handle alone..we admins have a tough job trying to keep the server as fun as possible with people just want to live their lives (ingame) and just do fun stuff,, instead of the Random DMing,that Single player already provides, so then why Make people do bad things..

instead of Trying to change rules.. make fun ideas about good scripting stuff.. we can do a lot more with that..

Carjacking on RPG server is annoying... As on deathmatch server you can start shoot everyone you saw...
On RPG server it is more strict...

1. You are a taxi driver that cannot use /carlock as he needs a client in... He waits for guy, got carjacked, starts calling police, that in pursuit after criminals on 50-100 crowded server...

2. You are just chilling around, saw some nooblet, decided to help him, stopped to pick him... He just carjacked you and went away...

3. You are in a scene of RPG drugs dealing, talking through the window of you car with other gangsters, here comes nooblet " get out!"...

4. You are in a Bone County, saw someone, who just blew his car, stopped to pickup him, as there on hundred miles no any car... He carjacked you and went away...

etc.

If to count all this positions, players will stop trust to each other even regulars...
And what kind of RPG then you wanna see?

  this happened to me before... only problem I was in a sabre so no control !    We ended up jacking each other 5 times and I finally got myself and my car away by reversing half across Flint County, to stop spinning
