The only response you'll get from doing this, is unnessesary discussions, arguements and eventually admin punishments. What you are doing now is sinking to Giac's level. He should've DQed specific people who cheated in the Oscars, not entire groups (I am not going into further discussion about this subject). Same like YOU should've contacted Frank himself, not the entire group.

My mission on the Inferno 9 topic was to write the Oscar Winning part, and I'am behind all the mess here. I can agree that the part you guys hanging yourselves upon shouldn't be there, and it will be removed once we get ahold over the hard-working Big Mac nigga - that's it.

I won't take any questions regarding it so don't even bother trying to contact me about it, cause I don't feel like wasting time over something that don't have any way of resolving itself. People just need to chill and let the hate be in a invisible way, as we turn our hate invisible by now aswell.

I was angry myself, cus of personal shit.

Anger is what is destroying argo. The need for revenge. The need to hurt someone because you were hurt. It's all human. But after an hour or couple of mins, that anger is gone. Now let's just forget about this shit, before it gets worse. We all said stupid things, other people said stupid things, we get mad about those other people saying stupid things.. Now that both groups have laid down what they think lets forget this and bury it.

I know we ain't the most liked group around here and by what was posted on the i9 topic just added it and fueled the hate even more.
We or not to my knowledge anyway never "planted" evidence that any groups were cheating while the oscars were running but if someone from i9 did then am deeply ashamed that the group has sunk this low.  As I mentioned to Que IG I hope i9 do not win this year, we don't deserve it we're not exactly what we once were when i9 was first started.

No, you're not the best role-playing group of 2010 or 2011; to be honest, I'm not even sure you are a role-playing group and I did chortle when I saw that Oscar picture with your "best group of 2009" text. Half of your members (I'm not talking about Rusty Culver and a few others who actually make this group stand on its feet) can't even spell or speak English properly and all they do is shout "chea' nigga" all the time. Groups like Gvardia and Conecta deserve to win the awards, and they would win it in 2010 if it was made earlier. You're going about making some image that you're an almighty god who helps new players who know fuck all about the server and just follow whatever the fuck the first person they meet tells them to do. You're also a racist to blacks but no one obviously sees it and takes it seriously because, guess what? Yeah, you're role-playing a black person. You have hidden images no one but actually intelligent people see.

Bear in mind, that the frequency of these events can vary from time to time and depends on whether the NBA can find some time away from eating Kentucky Fried Chicken!

On careful consideration, looking back at the topic - It's clear that it has been misunderstood for the reason that the entire statement was not included. The statement under scrutiny was articulated under the assumption that SSC & Gvardia would inevitably be successful in the forthcoming Oscars. There is no mention of disqualification nor associated sanctions imposed on your groups signifying it was written prior to Giac's announcements:

In 2010, the Argonath Oscars were held - during which INFERNO 9 members agreed to live the value of sportsmanship by not voting for themselves. Despite being only 9 members at the time, the group went up against groups such as Gvardia which were more then triple the size of INFERNO 9. Instead of keeping the event fair, groups such like this voted in favour of their own group. Logically, the larger the group the higher chance of winning the award would be so it would not be hard to understand why certain groups won the awards in this year. Despite being outnumbered, INFERNO 9 won the best roleplay group of 2009 through strong community backing. This was taking into consideration that not a single INFERNO 9 member voted for their own group - INFERNO 9 live the value of sportsmanship and feel that fairness in events such as these are paramount to a healthy community.

In 2011, despite heavy criticism over the Oscars in 2010 - the same rules applied which allowed members of a group to vote for themselves. INFERNO 9 like in 2010, stuck close to their principles and did not vote for themselves however members from Gvardia and 58th Street Connecta did otherwise for their own groups and being the largest groups in Argonath won the best criminal group and best roleplay group. Whilst we condemn their actions, we understand for this reason why Argonath can never be a democracy. It is groups like these that cast a dark shadow over the community and it's regretful that their group leaders allowed this to happen.

INFERNO 9 despite being a much smaller group narrowly lost out to 58th Street Connecta for best roleplay group of 2010. Regardless of winning or not, we are very proud of our achievements and thank all those who supported us over the course of our journey. We will always remain true to our principles and for the sake of the community continue to demonstrate sportsmanship as our ideal values. We will not stoop to the same level as other groups by shamelessly and selfishly tuning votes in our favour; this is our promise to the community and will continue to be the peoples champion for the foreseeable future.

Though controversially conveyed, the statement was not foreseen to cause such emotional aggravation and its timing was purely coincidental with the announcement around disqualifications.  'The truth hurts' - is very much relevant to the temperament of groups concerned and demonstrates the underlying fragile relationship we have suspected to have grown between our groups in recent months. The insults which have been one-sided are regretful and disappointing - whilst we understand the frustration this statement may have caused, we are stern in defiance in a bid to write history as accurately as we see fit.

Considering this statement has caused such an emotionally charged environment, I will be happy to remove it providing there is approval from INFERNO 9 members. Putting aside what has transpired, we remain open to dialogue between our groups to strengthen communication and highlight areas of improvement in aim of positive relationship building. Whether you choose to co-operate is at your discretion.

This will be my final post on this subject, the statement will be removed by a moderator in due course.
