Today I bought a new Graphics Card... it was about time to upgrade...
Old:
Nvidia GeForce 8600GS 512MBNew:
Sapphire Radeon HD4670 GDDR3 HDMI PCI-E 1GB (Chipset: ATi Radeon HD4670)
I know there are better cards out there... but since I wanted something Cheap that works good enough for my pc... and has mb source at least of 1,000 (1GB).. this is the right for me!
So far, Here's a list with games I've played on my PC today.. and Results!!
Just note that I use the Resolution
1680 x 1050 in all the games listed bellow!!
To be tested:Call of Duty 4: Modern Warface
Call of Duty 5: World at War
Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box (Online mostly.)
HDMI Connection - GPU to this 20" Samsung Monitor I use, using an HDMI Cable
(Will test it this Friday if able.)
Already Tested - SucceedGrand Theft Auto IV ~ Online Too : Max on Graphics (Except View Distance which was at 30.) I get 30 FPS here, and it's lovely without the Definition (In which you can see the Blur when you move the camera fast, or speed.)
Need For Speed: Shift - Max Graphics - Nearly 30-45 FPS (Depends on Map & Car.)
What can I say? I love this! The graphics are just AMAZING! I love it more by the inside car camera, where you see the blur effect when you speed!
Restarted the game by begin so I can now enjoy it!
Left 4 Dead (1) - Max Graphics - Nearly 35-40 FPS
Awesome, Not even a simple moment of lag, Great effects with shooting / Fire! Just Wonderfull!
Left 4 Dead (2) - Max Graphics - Nearly 25-30 FPS
Just GREAAAT! Amazing! I couldn't believe my eyes! Graphics are just so nice.... game does not lag, and the zombies are beeing funny :P :banana:
Far Cry 2 - Ultra High
This is a bit of laggy at Ultra High.... but still in the default High, I can get about 25-30 FPS.. and with Ultra High, I get the average of 15FPS...
Counter Strike Source
Well, you do not need a special pc to play this one, I was already playing it without lag with the old GPU.. still nice and even better now!

Just wow? Great graphics... badly I destroyed the truck by falling in a ice hole :redface:
Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X - Max Graphics
:wow: :wow: This game really made me say "wow, look at the graphics!!"... it's amazing gameplay, plus the nice aircraft included on the game.. as well as the missions are good too!

Thing is I do not care if you have a better GPU, even if you do, Gratz to you! But if you need a cheap solution able to play a LOT Games with great quality.. this is what you should get
