The subject of this thread is Freecops.

Now some may not like them, some may.


It has come to my attention that there is still a large amount of disrespect from senior officers and others alike to freecops , depsite the fact that admins were on a mission some time ago to stop people moaning about freecops , it still remains, and almost as much as when it was slightly toned down a bit.

Freecops are being accused of everything known to man.

People do not respect there rp efforts and just view them as waste, you wouldn't even kick your garbage all over the floor, why kick a freecop into little peaces?

People are being disrespectful to freecops be they new or old.

Comments given to me personally whilst being a freecop:

By ARPD senior, shortly AFTER  (when i had to ask) for the reason to why he banned me (Reason being I was abusing and abusing senior command / officers) he called me Retarded and stupid.
Sure, pms can be private, but not when there are print screens , and this matter may be reported (I am just too lazy to do it...).

It is clear that some respect freecops, even if the odd one abuses - doesnt know the rules most of the time or is a random person causing havock due to widely not knowing what to d.o (whos fault? Admins? ARPD? no, they blame the freecops)

Please state your views after you have stated your in game name, rank in SAPD - freecop or ARPD SAPD or rank in ARPD FBI, as I know its growing.

I want to highlight that I am the topic starter and If you fail to keep your VIEWS just views and not moaning you will be asked to leave from the discussion / thread, if you fail to and carry on MOANING, you will be asked by an forum moderator to leave - but be warned, they know what to do more then me and they will do it.




This is as much a thread to the owners then it is to players.

No, the truth is you do not see ARPD SAPD being called this or that...

It's mostly to freecops .

I did say on my post this shouldn't be made into a personal matter, but i take on board your view.

Calling a freecop "Free officer" or anything is not going to do much... Just shows a personal lack of truthfulness and ignorance to the person saying so.

People need to open there eyes a bit.

Freecops are not biased, and most of them don't care about their name colours, /rank, non-existing "reputation" and other shit. They simply are the best cops in the server.

I don't know, but I liked more the idea of everybody having the same color when you were on duty as a cop, regardless of the rank (maybe make everybody have a dark blue name?) - that would SERIOUSLY solve problems.

Your not the only person, and we're certainly not few, to have this vision.

I've "grown" in Argonath with idols (we all have), most of them police officers. Once I got to know those people I really was speechless about their vision on the "freecops". Words like : "Go away freecop" (which I just re-witnessed 1-3 days ago) are just disrespectful.
And there are some who even dare to say they treat them well, when they don't.

Luckily "freecops" don't give a shit about it, as their main goal is to have fun. It's just sad for us, veterans, who enjoy to have new people around. Probably it hurts us more than it does to them.
If most of them are good cops?No, of course not, but they have the WILL to learn and to correct their mistakes. They're not like those "I know better".
Curiously I've never seen a "freecop" moaning about money on the chat. I imagine the amount of times they just killed for '"wtf lol, your not getting me" and, yet, they don't complaint. It's just a "try again" option.

That 110 procent a Reason too.. some Veteran players like you are almost "Abusing" being suspect, you use that ARPD can't give you orders.. no need to drive Police cars.. my option Stop abuse the freecop name..

Personally, I love Freecops. It brings back old memories when I see SAPD Cruisers going around, full of Freecops, calling themselves "Freecop Patrol", as I used to do that before as well.
