Just to say, army have nothing to do with kidnappings. So if im working a kidanpping and an army guy comes up, he's going back the way he came.

I do of course support the army, whatever army this is as there seems to be so many i.e. MGI, AA, USMC?, being deployed for terrorist threats and such.

Army should not respond to anything unless called upon.. Maybe only if police chief or other government officials declare whats called 'State of emergency'. If the situation is so big that all law enforcement, including FBI and SWAT can not handle it, then state of emergency can be declared and military will respond.

Informed me enough I need to know , atm I have an ID for a all new rp type, but not sure it will succeed because people will see it as "unofficial".

Although I dont agree with everything AA does, I still think they have a use - they are constantly in kidnappings/bank robberies  something I don't like.. , but hey, its still good  :drunk:

If any unofficial law group member with civilian rights but law uniform.. such as Argonath Army, kill someone and claim self defense, should they get unsuspected?

If the Police Force calls in the Army (or any other group) to assist them, they can allow them clearing of offense. In such cases the Police Force should also fully cooperate by allowing the group members to break speed limits and escort them if asked for.

If the Army (or any other group) acts outside the knowledge and request of the Police Force, they are deemed to have made a criminal offense.

Is that only for people on the Police Force in higher authoirty. For example: can a freecop give the army rights to do this, or does it have to be SAPD officer+ or even higher then that?

I can't see the use of an Army in Argonath. As far as I know, we are not at war with any other country? Police work is done by the police, if you want to be a cop, then be a cop, not a soldier. Soldiers are supposed to defend the country from threats outside the borders, but there are no threats outside the borders.

Why should you have any rights?

Well, the army should be called to the scene when like, there are alot of heavily armed criminals in lets say erm... the bank, if the cops cant handle it, they will eventually call the army, i only saw the army ONCE, somewhere at the star tower, and it looked awesome.
Its like in single player, when the cops cant handle CJ, they will bring the army.

IMO the Army is just wannabe SWAT or something. (Yea, I know the army is fun, I was in Imperial Army once, and all the trainings and such were cool,but IMO its just not needed...)

Maybe in RL it is.
But this is Argonath, and in argonath there are differences between AA and the Swat

every time i contact 911 for training, they never come ... It's impossible to train "legally" as the cops simply do not care.
