The Gambetti family is based all over San Andreas and were led by the aging Jon Gravelli, who had taken over the position as Don of the Family in 1978 after the death of then Don, Sonny Cangelosi. Gravelli had been confined to Schottler Medical Center in Broker since 2005 with a serious kidney based illness. A case was brought against Gravelli and the Gambetti Family in 2006 for Racketeering, although Jon Gravelli has not been able to stand trial due to his illness. Roy Zito is currently the underboss and right hand man of Jon Gravelli. Zito is fiercely loyal to his Don, having offered the sick Gravelli his own kidney in tribute. When Gravelli refused the offer, Zito cut the Kidney out himself and delloyal to his Don, having offered the sick Gravelli his own kidney in tribute.
