Notification to all players

This is a notification to all players about who I am and what I am actually able to do

I am posting this because nobody seems to listen to me when I explain to them clearly...

If people ask me about any of these things I will simply direct them to this topic.

I am not a manager, stop asking or TELLING ME to do things I can not do. This includes:

Sorting out business, house and car problems

Sorting out problems with lost money

Sorting out anything which requires a log check

Sorting out anything which only managers and above can do

I can not unban people. Contacting me and saying things like this will not help:

Hey David , can you check my unban request please , i will like that :x http://www.argonathrpg.eu/forum/index.php?topic=48858.0

I can not moderate all sections of the forums. I can only moderate ones which I am a moderator of!


/admins shows me as an administrator. That means I AM AN ADMINISTRATOR, NOT A MANAGER

My forum position shows me as a SA:MP Scripter. That means that I am a SA:MP Scripter, not a MANAGER



I do not have script access for the main server, just the test servers. Stop asking me or TELLING ME to do things I can not do. This includes:

Fixing lag on the main server

Doing an emergency fix (such as the problem with the gravity)

Anything else which requires scripts being changed on the main server

I can only do planned and announced updates with another scripter uploading the scripts to the main server

In conclusion:

Stop contacting me either in-game, on MSN or forum PM about things which I am unable to do


I may update this list if I remember other things which people want me to do


And for crying out loud, if you want something and I tell you that only managers and above can help you, DO NOT keep asking me. Why are you still asking me? I have already told you that I can't help you. Do you think I am lying?!

Well said David. I would recommend using your "Administrator" powers in-game and Moderator powers on the forums in the ways that you CAN to start punishing those that continue to bother you after warning. I understand the confusion, but one warning is enough. I've been an admin, twice over, on two different Argo servers and I understand your frustration. People need to learn to be patient and not annoy others for their own benefit.

Asking a normal question is not something we administrators will punish. I understand what your saying but people will keep asking things without looking further then their own nose, we simply need to accept that and be patient and kind to them back by referring to forum or anything that fits.
