Jon Skapizi, the high-profile boss of San Andreas Skapizi Mafia, nicknamed the "Jon Don" based on his numerous courtroom acquittals, came very close to being the "Dead Don" on a spring day in April of 1986 when he narrowly avoided being murdered at Market, Los Santos, at the hands of a rival mafia.

Jon, who orchestrated the assassination of his predecessor and boss, Paul Castellano, and Castellano's driver/bodyguard, Tommy Bilotti, in December of 1985, apparently, many of the Skapizi family was happy to hear the news, because Castellano had murdered Jon's father, and taken Don rank in the Mafia. After Jon murdered Castellano, he took back the rank of Don in the Skapizi mafia. The mafia today still lives in Los Santos. Jon Skapizi has been recruiting many new people to the Skapizi family in order to make his Mafia invincible.

The Skapizi mafia has many members that are very skilled in shooting and driving, as a result, the police could almost never catch them. To this day, Jon Skapizi has never been taken to Mordor, even though he has committed more than ten counts of murder. Jon Skapizi is mostly always in hiding, and has more then five hit contracts on him, still none of which have succeeded.
