All,
I've been witnessing a lot of negativity on this forum and in-game. It's a cultural element that has been maliciously embedded into the values of Argonath players and component to the recent demise in motivation, commitment and being within the community. In contrast to this, I'm keen to understand what our peers are doing to make Argonath a better place for regulars, new players and all stakeholders involved.
I'm extremely proud to see many people commit their time to our community in lucrative ways. Whether training new players, helping peers, or developing the infrastructure we all enjoy playing upon. I will start off by including what I and our conjoined group Inferno 9 [i9] are doing within Argonath to make it a better place.
I'm part of a group called Inferno 9 [i9] which is set up based on the principles which Rage Incorporated [RI] was founded upon. These principles consisted of showing great tolerance towards new players and being focussed towards their development in line with the Argonath vision. Unlike many fashionable groups and clans, we have strenuously worked towards instilling them with tailored values to ensure they adhere to regulatory enforcements whilst entertaining themselves safely in the process in aim of becoming benchmark community members.
Gas Station 9 / Inferno 9 [i9] is home to a criminal RP hub which encourages players from all backgrounds to become involved regardless of being new or experienced. Inferno 9 [i9] is a similar concept based on single player missions which orientate around four main characters called Big Smoke, Ryder, Sweet and Tenpenny who hand out missions in return for respect and financial rewards.
Each Inferno 9 [i9] was recruited based on strict merits which fit in line with our values and vision of becoming an influential and prestigious roleplay group within Argonath. Each Inferno 9 [i9] member is responsible for assigning out missions depending on the experience level of players involved. For example, when a new player is spotted, we purchase clothes for him, teach him basic things and offer him a chance to work along side experienced players. We then proceed to hand on small missions such as bringing back a Turismo to GS9. We then proceed to reward the player accordingly. As their experience level grows, the financial reward in adjusted in line. In time, we monitor their performance, their behaviour, their attitude their talent and make adjustments where appropriate. Players often then continue with their Argonath career in search of new goals whether being the ARPD, starting their own group or joining another.
Summary:- Inferno 9 [i9] strive to instil benchmark traits into new and experienced players.
- Inferno 9 [i9] populate a remote location (GS9) which promotes criminal roleplay.
- Inferno 9 [i9] strenuously help new players to attain success within community.
- Inferno 9 [i9] rewards roleplay in turn for financial reward.
- Inferno 9 [i9] develop players to a high level of standard therefore they can pursue their future goals.
I'm extremely keen to hear how others benefit our community. I encourage all to get involved regardless of being new, experienced or being part of the administration. Come on, don't be shy - get involved.
