XP or Vista?

Ok, My Windows 7 dont work, Im getting a new copy soon, but for now I need to use another Windows OS, but what?

I have:

XP and Vista (*I also have Ubuntu)


What I use my PC for:
- Gaming (Lite)
- School work
- Multi Media Production (Video, Music, Pictures)

HELP ME (Please)

Windows XP, or simply upgrade to Windows 7

depends on hardware.. i personally didnt have a single prob on vista, except mta not working, but i do guess its personal favorites.. but if you are used to 7 i say go for vista

Ok, Thanks, Unfortunetly my Vista Serial isnt valid any-more, so I cant use it, So I'll have to use the XP Disk that came with my PC, I did have a vista disk come with my PC, But I dunno where it is.

Use Windows XP, It's much better of all ( Exept Windows 7 )
Vista need better RAM,Prossor...etc
But XP just need a normal PC.

I have used Pretty much every OS i can find. I'd say Vista is real decent. Looks good, if you are ok with computers it will work great on lower end pc's. I honestly am not fond of Windows XP, every pc i have had it on has crashed and i have to reformat(and the pc is CLEAN LOL). I haven't had any issues with Vista. Windows 7 isnt too bad and actually its just barely lighter then Vista Premium . I tried to run it on my PC that had Vista basic on it and it was terrible. But if you have like 4g ram and a 256 vid card with a decent processor. You will do good.

I've ended up using XP, I tried Vista but it fucked up my PC, I was going to use the only OS which hasent given me any problems, Ubuntu, but I dont like using WINE to run .exe's.

Anyway, Im getting Win 7 HP soon.
