I cant open up my CS4, reinstalling dosent help I entered an experied serial key first time but then I reinstalled it 2 times It didint help, last 2 times I asked for 30 day trial but still kept saying license is experied and woudlnt even let me enter new serial key

suggestions I dont want : Reinstall windows/do an format.

More detailed explain:When I try to open Photoshop CS4 Extended it throws an small box saying: License expired and all I can select is OK so I cant enter new serial.

For those of you who have installed the CS4 Master Collection and months later received a "License for this product has expired" popup when trying to open Photoshop or other CS4 applications.......this workaround will fix your licensing woes indefinitely

The main problem is that after a certain period of time.....the AMT Licensing file refuses to allow the CS4 application to load.......for me if was on Jan 20th.......I even changed my system time back 1 day and photoshop actually started working again.....but this is a hassle, So I found a permenant solution

Apparently after reading around, I discovered that the amtlib.dll file that is contained in each individual application folder in the CS4 Master Collection needs to be replaced with a "lifetime version" to get your product working again

Contained in this torrent is the amtlib.dll file as well as a crack.bat script that will replace each old amtlib.dll file in each program folder with the "lifetime version"

there should be no need to change your serial, but I included a keygen that works if anyone needs it

the only code that is executed in the crack.bat file is this:

Also, I think I should mention that I originally had downloaded and installed the trial version of the CS4 Master Collection......this is the installation that I am applying this crack to

And once again.....make sure that you have changed your hosts file to include "activate.adobe.com"

UPDATE(answer to question about hosts file):
Open the file in notepad, erase everything and copy and paste the info below to prevent adobe from accessing there server for activation.
hosts file should look like this:

C:WINDOWSsystem32driversetchosts
127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com


UPDATE(anwser to question about changing serial):
I found a way to change my serial through adobe's website....
They have an application that is used as a license repair/update tool for cs3/cs4 products......you can also use it to delete your license records which will then allow you to reenter this information when you load an application.......instead of repairing your license........enter "0" when it gives you the option to delete your license
