I never treated you guys as a whole, as retards over MTA:VC Players, did I? That post was made in reference to the average mentality of both sub-communities.

The reason for me quoting the "SA:MP is to Argonath what /b/ is to 4Chan" sentence is because the proportion of abusers, rulebreakers, and people generally termed as idiots, on SA:MP is greater compared to those on MTA:VC during its time. Don't get me wrong though, there are great people on SA:MP, many of which are my friends, and some of which I look up to and respect.

In SA:MP, there way more people who break the rules regularly despite having complete knowledge of them (particularly those who excel at abusing the numerous scripts that Argonath SA:MP is known to possess), than in MTA:VC, resulting in the quote "SA:MP is to Argonath what /b/ is to 4Chan".

In matters of having fun, SA:MP is more based on complexity, as opposed to MTA:VC which is based on simplicity. Since the average gamer these days is more attracted by good scripts than by a good community, SA:MP as a result has way more players than MTA:VC had in its time. As a result though, the ratio of abusers in SA:MP currently is higher compared to MTA:VC in its prime. MTA:VC has also spawned numerous veterans now held in high esteem throughout the community, and has produced many Argonath players who have better knowledge, talent, and skill with role play.

That is basically my explanation as to why MTA:VC is held in higher esteem than SA:MP.

they are two communities, with their many ups, but most likely down points aswell.

Comparing these communities with each other is USELESS.

The statement about better knowledge, skill, and talent with RP is also applicable to Argonath (I should have put it there as well), but I chose to centralize it more on MTA:VC, as many of the players here in Argonath SA:MP are bound by all the rules and customs of We-All-Know-What, which doesn't originate in Argonath. MTA:VC lacked those sort of people (or at least, we had them very rarely, as opposed to here where they are common occurences). It wasn't my intention to emphasize MTA:VC while bringing down SA:MP, so don't think I did likewise.

Don't get me wrong, I also love the SA:MP Community as well.
