As easy as it is, it may or may not cost money to get a reliable host for your IRC chat.
Those of you who are having delays, it's a form of a web chat box (PHP, Javascript, etc), meaning that the data has to be sent to a host for the message to broadcast. The delay may depend on your upload speed.
