It's good to set objectives before you get role working. One of most common objectives is:
- Get a House
- Get a Business
- Get a car
- Improve your RP skills.
Of course, this becames boring after you reached this objectives, and you want to move forward.

No, it doesn't.
The Roleplaying opportunities are in such a level unlimited you can do it over and over again.

So, a new car system is getting on, and the owned cars just happear when it's owner is online, right?
That's quite cool but, the server can get less cars to drive, especially if 60 players are online, the maximum is like 180... and if you are driving a person's car, it can vanish :L
I'm not very sure of this, it's slightly confusing.
It can reduce serv lag though

How long are you playing here? I remember from my first days RPing as cop to get some cash, to get my first house Such good times... Well who didn't? It's normal to see old players doing events, they don't care about the money too, they already had everything they wanted (most).. I don't blame players for running for stats.

well i maybe not have played as long as you . only a year. i have had my infernuses and buffalos and millions and mavericks ... still .. its not about the cash.... the sooner people realizes it the better.. sure build up a fasad as a lord of something its fine .. but still to ground it on the money is wrong .. you  dont gain respect by it you dont gain anything but babylonian greed and think your soo all that with the cash .. Actually, hes the greatest SAMP Scripter, ive ever met, seen, i really enjoyed all how scripts while playing Argonath... The only thing here is that he forgot something about what is a player, playing an RPG game...
You keep talking about FAIR FAIR FAIR! When was there a game where everything was equal? not everyone wins, not everyone looses, not everyone completes a mission, not everyone achieves the highest stats, not everyone beats the Best Record... This is important, this requirements complete the Roleplay.

If you dont wanna care about your stats and cash and you just wanna drive a fancy cars, there are Special gamemods, where you can spawn cars and drive fast, and do stunts.

Seriously, where is the spirit of gaming? You guys started repeating the word " moan moan moan " at every discussion, after Aragorn Stated it. You are the moaners! moaning about prices going high and all the shit going on now, because you cannot accept the idea of a player whos got more cash or more drugs than you? or driving the best car in the server.

You blame the roleplay for that, which is not true, Roleplay has nothing to do with money or anything. You people are wrong, If you're a good player, you should be able to play and cut the crap.

Okay, I played here scince september 2009, Not much, all november december ive been inactive. Now I own a burgershot, a nice house (Neighbour to CBF ^^) and a nice bike, a freeway. Its a really good way to "Live" in Argonath RPG. I am not one of theese people who are "OMG look at me I have an infernus/turismo i bought for [insert BIG number here] million/Oh look at my maverik my 999k bizz and my mansion now bow down to me" Its NOT that way, Argonath RPG=Server for FUN and RP. I RESPECT IcyAero for his idea for selling all his peoperties and giving away the money...To RP!!! a hobo. I mean look at that man! He worked for it so hard (I assume so) and now he decided to go and RP a hobo. Finally, those rich men can stop being cocky! Some people are ruined by money, for example, I was roleplaying a poor old man [In my first day or two here] and a player said, with the [[ ]] brackets; ''Go earn you cash you idiot! I've got millions, and I earned it, i dont need to donate to some fool who cant manage to earn his own cash'' or something very similar to the sort.

And I can get a nice simple Vehicle to role play with others with.
