It seems like this update get rids of gangcars. In one point of view it is.. But when a criminal group script will be scripted it would be a lot easier to make cars for groups. Not just owned by one of the member, but by the group.

I know.. There will be some time without the gangcars. But I fully trust on CBFasi and the other scripters that they will make something good for the criminals (in the near feature).

In the case of cars despawning when the owners log off, what scripts are being put in place for criminal groups who wish to have gangcar spawns?
After all, the police cars don't despawn.

There is both postive and negative comments here.

This adds future flexibility for gang ownership systems, which could NOT happen due to limited vehicle numbers (yes I not forgotton Panda !!).  Yes that bits got to be scripted but its more possible under the new system!

Look the good side of it..

Rich people can be buying or switching vehicles every day if they like... and poor ones will have the ability to hold the car of their dreams without needing to save for like 2 years to get 1 mil or so.

Yea.. Non-Hungry people usually achieve the 450,000$ in Average in a Year with no spending. It also took me a year to reach the ability to hold 500,000$ on hand for the first time.. (Which I did before like 20 days.) Not everyone likes spending money or going on public events

It says it in the first post...

When you log out, your cars also disappear from the server. When you log in back, they spawn back to where you left them.

Well i Just lost 3,000,000 of this like nothing. they just locked the Auction and told not do do a court ... since no need. even if Rules are broken. and its Lazy .. but in the End The new system Might Be good.

But in my Opion the carselling has bin a Big part of Argonath. its fun Doing Business. This way. would not be the same with Bying cars. But for all that not have Much money its a great thing.

so Lets wait for the new system .. and PLayyyyyyyy.

No one is really forcing anyone to sell their cars they wasted their money on, so although you cant get that back for the car, you arent technically losing it, and because you can own more than 1 car, there wont be a problem, you can keep that car any buy another, no problems.

You may think its similar to other servers scripts, but I am sure that the developers would not copy or use other servers scripts,
they have all been fully made by our development team and not just copied from other servers.

And yet the server you mention has a different system to the one proposed, if you were to actually read through the entire thread.

Also, Argonath had this car system bloody ages ago at the start of RS3.
