When it comes out and you are able to buy around 3 cars, I'll just go straight to the dealer and buy myself a Taxi, Mr Whoopee and a sports car
I spend around... 1 month being a medic constantly and made around 100K just by standing idle at LSPD and watching the main chat, could get boring, but atleased there always was a medic available and sometimes I co-operated with other medics instead of just honking at each other to determine who owns the spot at LSPD

You want to talk about fairness? We don't find it fair that a player can't buy the car that they have enough money to buy brand new from a dealership. Instead they have to pay millions to greedy players who only care about money. Their posts on this topic are evidence of this.

You talk about working hard and earning money. What did you do exactly? Did you do scripted jobs for it? Did you sell other assets for it? Did you roleplay and earn the money? If it was roleplay, you wouldn't care as it would have been fun doing this. We are in Argonath RPG. We are here to roleplay, not just earn money.

As for new players, they start off with $10,000 and the car costs $80,000. I don't know about you, but it took me ages to make my first $50,000, and it was damn satisfying. I bet it's very satisfying to new players to earn $80,000 for a nice new car, and then suddenly they realise that they have to pay an extra $500,000 - $1,000,000 for it. You want bullshit? You're looking at it!

As for a "crash in the current economy", there is no economy.

After reading your post, I have come to the following conclusions:

1. You care way too much about virtual money

2. You are selfish

3. You do not care about other players, particularly new ones

I actually did RP jobs. I transported weapons from one city to another, I earned a hefty amount till the /loan was gone. Think of it in real life, can someone go out and buy a Bugatti for $200,000 since that is what its worth in parts? No. The company builds it by hand and charges over a million dollars for people to buy it.

I think we are coming from a RP server to a "OMG NEW PLAYERS DONT GET ANYTHING, LETS GET ALL NEW MEMBERS! NEW MEMBERS FTW!!!11!!". I mean look at groups like i9. All they want is new players cause apparently that's the trend now to be "elite", "influencing", and "above others". But to be honest, how many people come here and actually stay here for a time. I don't think a lot do. When I came here, the only person that helped me was Cutt3r. After that, I started to learn things by my self, nobody helped me.

Then again, when I joined Gvardia, Johnny was the only one to help me earn my first $50,000 to buy a Sentinel. He taught me all the tricks and ways to sell stuff. I began a RP Real Estate Company. I did earn a lot of cash. This was all RP. I mean I even had an RP with getting people to sign a contract and passing them the keys to the house.

I do not care for virtual cash or for the "economy" that doesn't exist, I want fairness to all. I mean this is like respect, you can't just buy it, you need to earn it, why not put this in a money way?

Lastly, if a person buys a car, house, and business for a cheap amount, what is their purpose, besides RP for playing. I think owning a house, car, and business is a RP. I think earning cash doing jobs (Not just handing them money) is RP. Do you see people in real life just getting free cash for coming in to a country(Besides Luxembourg)?

I am for a warm welcome, but against getting people stuff for just coming in.

Well whatever happens with this script, I will be neutral. I know I can just leave, but wouldn't that be not welcoming to me?

Yes, david has warned us a month a go, he said you are gonna lose your buyout, but noone cared, you thought it was a joke maybe, the money hunger made you blind, now it happens, otherwise this is realistic, IRL you would go to the dealer and buy the car you wont, or do you pay the dealer 1 Million plus the car'S value IRL?

I wonder what would these who car much about money do, if they lose 10 Euros or something IRL.

When I came hear, I got help from Deejay, Justin, Hafford, Daniel and Tice, they were like i9 to me, and guess what, im still here, and only one person from the list is active.

Never has teaching new players been a trend bliss, its just being damn nice.

And also, if you want to bring irl into it.

You pay 1,200,000 for a brand new Buggati Veyron, as soon as you drive it off the lot, it loses half its value, as does any car.  I'd love to see you go sell a Ferarri for more than its worth irl.


only discontinued cars can sell for more irl, and maybe that could happen in Argonath, who knows, but this paying 2m for a car, I agree with David, it is utter shit, people shouldnt pay that, they think it makes them look "important"

But to be perfectly honest, every time i get in an infernus in game I look to the name and go "What sort of tosser pays that much for a car"   I bet if hed been mugged on the way to buy it, hed have said he was broke too.

CBFASI or anyone else will not be giving refunds. The amount you paid was your choice. You didn't have to pay it. If he or anyone else refunds you, everyone else would have to be refunded, which isn't happening.

As for people getting a reward for not knowing, I would like to say a few things.

People DID know about it. The information was leaked out months ago. You had plenty of time. Also, since when do we reward people for not knowing about updates? Reward you for what? We work hard to give you new features and you want a reward? If anything, we deserve a reward.
If you think the system is bullshit, feel free to not use it. Completely your choice.

I really cannot see how this is bad, youve made it to the top now start again its just like finishing a game and starting it again but this time you have the knowledge your 3 years were not wasted they were giving u knowledge of the game

Yep, when I had 2.1 MIL, I bought a Buffalo and an Infetrnus(Separate times) for 1.7 - 1.9Mil. Then I sold them and bought a Greenwood. With the 1.5 mil or so left, I gave 1.4 million out to new players and did a lot to first to pm wins 10k or first to find wins 10k or whatever. Fun times, people just have to realize money is NOT important.
