Well I've never driven the V8 that you speak of so I can't comment on that, but this is the M6 with the V10 and there's a reason it has won international engine of the year awards multiple times - it's certainly far from disappointing. Unfortunately the last of its kind for BMW too.

I could have gotten a nice Golf MK3 1.9 Diesel with BBS LeMans 17' and Recaro seats, instead I get a scooter.

I think he means to say that he can take his driving test when he is 18, unless you have remarking grades in school.
