I tend to buy cars based on how they look, speed up to a point is good, but I'd never use it to it's full capability.

Plus for thrills, a car is a poor second to a motorcycle, not even a comparison, plus a 600cc bike blows 99% of cars out the water when it comes to acceleration on the road.

Weight would be similar to be honest. Power would be doubled or tripled.

The Cayenne weighs around 2300kg and the Subaru weighs around 1250kg, how can you even look at them both and say they weight a similar amount? 
One's an SUV and one is a coupe... 

Straight line the Porsche Cayenne Turbo or GTS would leave the Subaru in it's dust, round a track you'd probably find it's a little closer if there wasn't too much open road. Though at best guess I still think the Porsche would win.

0-60 of the Subaru would be 6.2~ seconds, cost of about $30,000
0-60 of the top spec Cayenne would be 4.1~ seconds, cost of about $160,000

0-60 of a 2001 Honda Hornet 600 ~3.5 seconds, cost of about $1500

Granted there are cheaper cars you can get than the Subaru + Porsche which will do a 0-60 in < 6 seconds.

Not really. Porsche Cayenne Turbo S has 540 horse power, around 4 seconds to 60mph. Beats most of those low budget sport cars.

Interesting comment, I could find a car for much less than $160,000, or $30,000, or probably even $15,000 that would beat the Cayenne.

Granted, they're probably not gonna be SUVs too...
