Lack of Roleplay in ArgonathRPG SA:MP?

NOTE: This is how I think about it.

Dear Argonath,
Since I started playing ArgonathRPG I liked it, since I'm often on the server I notice there's not alot of Roleplay..
Do you see EVERYONE speeding in real life? Do you see police speeding in real life?
Did you ever see an guy who doesn't need a passport/exam finished to become a cop?
My opinion, because this server is a roleplay server, roleplay is NEEDED.
Like no dots on the map. ( For example: When you're doing a drugsdeal you see cops coming. )
No freecops. ( This is NOT meaned as disrespection. )
And lots of more things..

Argonath might not have "strict" RP rules, but look at the bright side, this lack of forced RP lets people relax and have fun, we all love the server, but if it was strict RP... it might not be as good as it is now. Remember, its about having fun more then anything else

Hero4aday, not everything can be what you would like it to be, help these people who aint RPing and one day they will be RPing at youre level.

Stop moaning and change the community the way you like!

You can have influence on other players, just inspire your vision and people actually try roleplaying your way.. Altough everyone has their OWN style.. Keep that in mind..

Hero4aday, not everything can be what you would like it to be, help these people who aint RPing and one day they will be RPing at youre level.

He's a very good friend of me, he can handle it.
I will just compensate it on another way (ouch, sounds wrong doesn't it? ;P)

Note that Argonath isnt based on Real Life.
Argonath is a world of its own.

And i agree, the server is just to have fun without strict roleplay rules.
And if you want to roleplay you should create a roleplay situation.
Sometimes you just need to search for the people who actually wants to roleplay but in the end you'll find someone to have fun with.

TIP: Dont only roleplay with your friends, roleplay with the whole server especially new players so they can observe players who roleplay and
try it themself.

Then start a situation, don't wait for someone to invite you.

Neither Argonath RPG, nor SAMP, nor GTA:SA are a real-life simulator. "Real life" does not apply to everything, only the basic concepts of how the world works, eg. features, roles available and basics like that.

Let's take away your passport/exam and see if you don't ask for it.
What's wrong with new guys asking for those anyway? If you don't like new guys - go to a closed, passworded server.

My opinion, because this server is a roleplay server, roleplay is NEEDED.

Won't improve actual role-play.
If you want safe drug dealing, make a more advanced passing system, not just "meet here and I'll send drugs to you and you pay me". Besides, it's not like in real life criminals sell drugs so easily and carelessly.

Don't hide moaning under "this is only my opinion, nothing else".
If you actually wanted to do something about increasing role-play, it would be either doing it in-game by creating situations where players can join, or posting ideas in the right forum board (with good arguments of course).

Puppet, you were consistently instilling a value of negativity within the server today both in /p and through your own roleplay. Infact, when provisionally punished you left the server in hope you would avoid a larger punishment which has not been issued to date.

Argonath RPG's scent, smell and beating heart are things that players cannot resist no matter how much they criticise or slander. This is evident through players leaving for other communities only to return back to Argonath RPG for the warmth and value of not being treated as a 'number'.

Argonath RPG is amongst the most creative RP servers on the SA:MP platform. We are consistently upgrading features and facilities to enable a fun and fruitful experience for all players who visit and continue to play amongst us. In line with this, we do not see the benefit of this topic. If you have any real ideas, feel free to post in SA:MP ideas where they can be debated. If you wish to continue playing here, please play within the boundaries of our rules.
