Garry's Mod Crashing

I can't find a way to stop the game from loading those.

It says HalfLife2.exe has crashed, I wondered why and I did a full search for the Halflife2.exe and I couldn't find it anywhere. I am wondering if this is the problem?

Also, the Halflife2 launcher says it doesn't know what game I want it to launch.

That's what the error says.

It's hl2.exe - one is for the Half Life 2 and the other to start Garry's Mod. Garry's mod is utterly dependant on Half Life 2.

You start your games from STEAM, not by their executables.
