if you pay close attention the series is supposed to go more modern, like Vice city it took place like in the 80's and San Andreas took place in the 90's, LC...idk about that part, played it only once, ang GTA IV takes place in the new era, maybe in the year 2003?
i think it would be cool if there was a JAPAN one since it's the country with more technology right now.

Okay why not really make it set in San Andreas again, with RAGE and stuff.
Protagonist: Sweet/Big Smoke or Ryder
Timeline: The time while CJ was in liberty
Story: How GSF got weaker.
Last Mission: Go on a big ass gang war, when you come back, Ballas do the drive by. Then ya know CJ's story.
They should add friendships/GFs, Mini games, the "Call backup" option from TLAD. Add clothes buying back from GTA SA.
Where?: Base it in whole San Andreas or just in a Big much detailed Los Santos.
