Thanks Frank, I'm actually glad you posted this so that those which may be victims of such harrasment/bullying/blackmail know they can seek help and have it dealt with. And those who carry out these acts can know that just because it is over the internet doesn't mean they are safe and anomymous, as their IP has all the required information to contact their Internet Service Provider, who can trace their activity and ultimately forward on their address to the appropriate police/law enforcerment. These sort of crimes don't have to, and shouldn't, go unnoticed.

It all depends on howyou report, and what is the impact.
For a money cheater or weapons hacker no cybercrime division will waste time or money. It is up to server owners to protect players.

However if someone deliberately crashes a server (interruption of service) or steals the contects of an account (theft of virtual property) the cybercrime division is forced by law to act and take it serious.
In order for them to be able to act you need low-level logs of it happening, in order to provide correct evidence and proof of the identity through IP address.
It does not matter if the person commiting the criminal act is a minor or not. A criminal offense is a criminal offense.

Remember we have experience in this matter.

You can be taken to court for every lawbreak, so aswell for hacking a server
