I don't want to be f***ing around with IPs. It's a bit ridiculous, I want a dynamic IP and I'm happy with how it is at the moment. I'm not an internet geek and I don't intend on being either because I have a life but I don't see why all BT users should be penalised when there are quite a lot of good regulars that use BT.

Choosing the provider is not a question about having life or not... Do not be idiot...
We warned all BT and explained why...
And for 3-4 players that like to have dynamic IP (quess why?), we'll not keep all BT cheaters welcomed here...
BT is the worst in Internet security provider... Every idiot can just reconnect to ban evade...
And we have cheaters/crashers and flamers mostly from BT... (Flame - 90% British Telecom, cheats - 70% British Telecom, crashers - 90% British Telecom)
So like you or not this provider will be blocked...

You found paradise in Argonath. You had a good game, you made good friends. The admins protected you and there were courts of law. So you didn't need a friend like me. Now you come and say "Aragorn, give me justice." But you don't ask with respect.

Im no bloody crasher , flamer , or bloody cheater. Nor is anyone else that replied on this thread.
Can't you just unban are subnets sauron. As i have half a degree in Cisco CCNA - Networking.
And every networker knows that you can never change your subnet.
host86-155-40-18.range86-155.btcentralplus.com
that is mine and the bit that will never change is
host86-155-40-18.range86-155.btcentralplus.com
that will never change.

This is my ip at the moment.

And every networker knows that you can never change your subnet.

Then tell your every networker, that they have no idea about providers...
You think we decided to block BT cos of one shitty subnet???
Learn more with your degree...

We do not tell you are a hacker or crasher...
send to Sauron (do not post IPs on forums) and he will unblock you...

I never said choosing the provider has anything to do with having a life I said. 'I'm not an internet geek and I don't intend on being either because I have a life'.

We do not block providers...
Maximum we are closing the route of provider...
But with the BT the situation is different...
The IP ranges are from xxx.128 to xxx.158... And almost all this ranges are used by our "friends" to avoid bans...
As when ban comes their IPs are blocked anyway we came to conclusion to go from the hard protection attack - first to block, then unblock those, who are our regular players...
I do not think any owner of servers will keep 30 millions IPs in his ban list...

So you want me to go from a cheep 8meg connection to an expensive crap ass lagtastic connection? dont think so, I wont be changing, you cant chuck admins for paying for a SMART internet connection who give you a good, but cheep connection.

Sauron, please pm me telling me how to get on.
Brad

It seems f***ing stupid to ban a whole company from accessing the server when the company is so large and so many people use it. :conf:

I agree fully with that, this is a stupid plan, millions of people in Britain use BT.
