Can't connect to VC:MP wth?

alright VC:MP the server is fine it works fine it shows the amount of player etc.  So I connect to it, the load screen comes up everything is normal then the next screen comes up and it says Connecting to (ip)...
nothing happens i can't connect to the server for some reason... please help?

Be sure that your firewall isn't blocking VC-MP or that it connects to the right Vice City Folder..

You're using a wRONg version of VC:MP.

The actual version is PAWN Client patch #2.
