It's indeed true that weight lifting and 'creating' muscle mass doesn't limit the general growth of the body. If you just look at those crazy bodybuilders who start weightlifting at 13 or some shit, most of them have a normal height.

Doing some light lifting won't hurt. But if you are in your teens and your muscles are the size of your head, you 99 percent ain't going to grow anymore. I had an Albanian friend in the USA who also started lifting like crazy. Sure, he is ripped now and has a nice body, but by the looks of it, he isn't growing anymore.
