Showing off with a cigarette may be much more inviting for others to start than walking past a random person with a cigarette in the street, hence you should post a picture without. The same goes for beer. Those items were not made for showing off on your pictures nor to be used as a symbol of how cool you are. It's not that the moderation team looks after a hidden cigarette in each and every picture of yourself.

There are many factors that can encourage a person to do a specific thing out there, that is not our responsibility. however here, on Argonath, it is not allowed to encourage the usage of alcohol nor cigarettes.
Some people are easily encouraged to do a specific action and it's been obvious enough from previous posts that there is a clear reason to decline alcohol and cigarettes from your picture. It's not that hard nor a big deal, all it takes is a little selfdiscipline to understand and respect the reason why it's not allowed.

By this logic we shouldn't have the World and Local News section because it doesn't meet the same censoring criterea.

Rape, murder, manhunt, genocide, corruption, Justin Bieber and infection is the kind of stuff people get to showcase there, and a simple cigarette or joint can absolutely not be present in a picture of yourself...

These are the rules, and I won't ignore them, but I do believe they should be updated.
