Destruction Derbys. The destruction of vehicles or people?

Since registering on the SA:MP server; I've seen many Destruction Derbies.

I've noticed whenever there is a Destruction Derby, during before the event begins and shortly after the event, there is total havoc, disrespect, kicking of members - making them all angry and moaning, swearing, w.e

People join DD's for the money, if they don't get it, they whine / harass / get upset.

There is also a lot of flooding and spam. When management makes pay-check / lotto, it's a much different thing, everyone is happy, even those who say "/spam off" or "WTF stop the spam" secretly want to join in, tbh, that spam is better then constant bitching and flaming, moaning.

Why should DD's be welcome if no-one can behave / they are (poorly or) simply un-manageable?

The Problem is not the management, or the staff of the dd, but the partakers.
Today was havoc because the partakers made it so, by far today was the worse one i've ever worked at.
We all tryed our hardest to make it fun, but the partakers refused to have fun.
People rejoined, and broke nearly all the rules, and then moaned at us for doing our job as staff because we warned them that they were breaking the rules.
Chuck left the server upset today because of this, you people fail to comprehend that your moaning about the server, the people, the script, and then moaning about the server not changing is your own fault.
you want change? change yourselves first.

I was never apart of a DD in months.

However I suggested to a Staff member of the DD to divert people to a CB channel, they said, 999 was only for DD staff.

You have a point, it is very easy for people with money to call others money hungry, but its also easy for people with less money to also recognise others as Money hungry.

But, please do not go on about this money hungry stuff, keep it on topic if you do.

As Ryan stated after the DD; if this continue he'll change it into a closed event, invite only.

Many people have been DQ'ed & banned from the DD's today.. dissapointing.

Reduce the prize money. If people can win just 5k only the people who enjoy the event will show up.

I'm always on the DD's for fun. I admit i'm sometimes moneyhungry, but if i loose DD i am not moaning. I don't care if i win it or loose it. It's just awesome fun.

I like invitation system. I would love to participate just for fun with patient nad calm players

I suggest you to do so , because at this DD was complete madness ( spartaaaaa). Money hungries popped my tires in order to increase their chances of winning.

This is totally wrong, The DD is just great.. most of players have fun, and even loosers, they walk out satisfied. If you're talking about someone in particular thats another thing, but in General, eveything is just fine.. its just your luck maybe.

At least thats better than your repeated /ad spaming, useless and totally wrong use of that roleplay command, maybe you should refrain from spaming 2 lines of orange texts before you speak about others spaming.

So, you just wanna manage the DD? thats what you want? Sorry to tell you, but Gregerson is doing a pretty good job, and i liked every single DD even ive won none of em.

I don't care about the money, it's just for teh lulz for me. However, someone people tend to generalise and have the view that ALL players are money hungry.

Money has nothing to do with anything, its just a word that spread all over the community. People do stuff, not virtual money.
