I had to comment on this. In my bank i have a maximum of 120k. I gave away 50k currently to an old member ( Bueto ), so please, dont say that.

I can't comment specifically on tonight's derby since I wasn't able to be there, but from what I have heard, it is no different to how I would generally expect it to be normally. "You rammed me", "You are a <insert word here>", "/spam off". No surprises, this is what happens every time. If people wern't so damn money hungry, they would visit the Derby section of this website and they would read and understand the rules hopefully, and then play to the proper rules and get fun instead of moaning out of it. Its for F-U-N, not money, and until people realise that, I do actually agree that the prize money should be lowered. I'm not saying this to get more frequent DD's, but to show people what the events are really about, and hopefully proper games will be restored in the future.

- Get stricter security. Anyone causing trouble? Blow them up like in old days.
- Yes DD is an event but include RP (within reason). Hire worker for hot dog stand and other RP vendors to keep players interested.
- Provide some form of entertainment for those waiting in line/ for event to start. This could include stand up comedy (joke telling), some quizzes etc - all that can happen through RP (do not take over main chat with things can be done in RP - even quizzes would be better if not on main chat).

- Stop being tight arse bitches and let everyone in cb 999. It's the event channel. Fair enough if people spam, kick them from server or whatever - but DD is more about players and staff having good time. DD is not business, DD is for fun. Let everyone in channel, then people have clearer idea of what managing is like. Surely you get more spam, but just deal with it. It's more fun that way.
 CB 999 was specifically chosen as it is PUBLIC. P U B L I C. This was on purpose believe it or not and had no problems when it was like this.

- There have always been people opposing the DD, and some of these even lead to it being closed! These same people ended up loving the DD in the end. There will always be sore losers but really who gives a shit about them. If they don't like event they don't have to go.


Want to win DD? Go to have fun. True winners are the ones who go away having enjoyed themselves and have had a great time. Want money? You will only end up pissed off at little things and walk away being pissed off and piss poor still.


  And for those who are thinking who the fuck I am: I'm just a nosy bastard who has it in his best interests for the DD to succeed.

I actually agree with gandalf, decrease the prize money.
Everyone misses the point of why we do the DD, it's not because we like being panicked and moaned about, or because we like wasting money on ungrateful people who moaned the entire time as well.
We do it because it's suppose to be fun, it's suppose to be a event that everyone can enjoy as a community.
Today we expected to have fun, instead we left the event feeling disappointed in the community we were apart of, because hardly any of you can have fun anymore without complaining to someone about some stupid little thing.

This is totally wrong, The DD is just great.. most of players have fun, and even loosers, they walk out satisfied. If you're talking about someone in particular thats another thing, but in General, eveything is just fine.. its just your luck maybe.
At least thats better than your repeated /ad spaming, useless and totally wrong use of that roleplay command, maybe you should refrain from spaming 2 lines of orange texts before you speak about others spaming.

I agree, people think DD official status = It's a business or w.e, it's not treated at all with RP.

I rememebr, I tried rping juice lady cop (>.<) in the lines, was told to F*ck off basically, as I wasn't staff.

I've tried being the driver and touring people to the DD, and around the DD area with "historic" rp tour info on LV.

Because I don't take part in DD's much, usually rping, when DD whole event time started , was RPing with smey , then went AFK to find DD moaning was still on.

I simply made the thread because I wanted to know what others thought regarding the spam and other subjects.

What ever you say, I am simply tired of the BS regarding what I do. You criticize my use of /ad for what you believe to be a poor RP excuse. 

But I do not see how you still believe this DD was the best, I saw it simply as what it's been like always, flaming, moaning, people shouting and screening for it to start, It's a shame I couldn't experience this event, the one that happened to be so marvellous :/

Ok dd offers a lot of cash and attracts all of the players but there are like 100 of guys pushing in line flaming administration and all. Than while the DD starts there are carjacks, lag rams and all kind of s***. The chances for me to win are very small plus i need a car that is strong and it takes searching and speeding there so at the end I WONT WIN, ILL GET ANGRY and get myself in big trouble so i ignore DDs and i dont go to dds any more it just brought trouble to me you need nerves for all that ram,flames and stuff and i kinda feel sorry for admins that have to deal with a bunch of angry players flaming everyone because they lost.

The DD was a good way to make a lump sum. Sorry to look at it economically, but if you went all out in the DD you stood no chance.
The winner was usually the laggiest pauser who didn't get caught.

Ok, guys. I am really money hungry, yeah that's the truth since I'm planning to buy a shamal, I join All the DDs there if I catch up, free or not, I just want the fun. I won a 25k DD hosted by Rory, people kept asking me money, cause of that I gave it all, But what happened next? I gained 5x the money I shared, so this isn't all the money guys. This is about the Fun and sometimes...the cash. I've seen people begging for money, I am, too included. I begged for money when I had a little cash, but people keep telling me to never give up and join DDs, lol. Mostly about the topic, I understand. Destruction Derbies are really made to be fun, not the cash. Like what Gandalf said. We can see who really is a True DD'er if they join a no prize money in a DD. Like I said, DD is made to be fun.

100% agreed. Argonath is full of moneyhungry people.

That's because you can't really play some roles with no money whatsoever. It's quite difficult to make money and I spend about 100k on guns monthly and it's pretty impossible for me to do anything completely unarmed as I always end up getting assaulted.

Its a GAME, not a mission, it happens every week, you chance to win is there too.
I hear from the admins that the reports are FLOODED at the DDs, wich is also anoying me realy much.
If people cannot enjoy an event that WE use OUR time to organize, and host then there is certainly something wrong - because its ment to be funny.
