How come criminals can't speed but cops can when they're not chasing criminals?, I've seen more than 90% of the cops speeding when they're not chasing criminals?, they are even driving on the wrong side of the road AND on the sidewalk.
I sometimes even get rammed by cops when I am a civilian, and here I thought cops was to protect the civilians

I bet the cop answering this question will give me an amusing answer.

well, you can be proud to yourself because if i pull an m4 or combat on a wanted suspect when he is running, that means he is on my top wanted list 
otherwise i only use deagle..

Even as I am a cop for a long time, I will vote no.
I've seen to much of the cops (I am talking about ARPD ones) going crazy when the other side does have a orange name.

In this I mean, there is a lot of improvement possible in roleplay situation for as example in:
#1: Investigatements (use your imagine, and don't decide before the RP already you are going to get $600 because you wanna jail and he is orange)
#2: Roleplay when arresting a suspect (Basically, 80% screams around: "/GU OR I KILL YOU", try to more RP an arrest and continue the RP from there)
#3: Weaponusage (Currently deagle and SMG are default weapons to shoot everything what's orange, the spraycan and nitestick seems to be useless for now. But these last 2 weapons are actually reaching more RP then just shooting on someone orange - remember the UZI law inside ARPD? If you're an old regular player you would remind them and I hope you would agree with me, that that rule should come back.

Aswell the moaning towards criminals when they get shot at, or when they are killed.
Most likely you will be called a "cophunter" (define that term for me please?) and you will be moaned at in the public chat.
Still I am wondering, why you should be moaning? You got your damn guns for free and criminals have to buy them and even a lot of them are not moaning when THEY got killed (YOU, as cop, even earn money for that)

There are several issues who can be improved from both sides (cop and criminal), mostly regarding RP visions.
Try to RP your situations more and let a criminal more decide in the end of a roleplay, because mostly every roleplay ends in a boring: /GU NOW, I NEED TO JAIL YOU AND I NEED $600 or if you're being investigated NO, YOU ARE GUILTY - /GU NOW, I JAIL YOU

That's because they are used to the fact, we cops, open fire directly without any attempt of RP.
Example of what I like - yesterday, I shot a guy who was suspected and he did /hurt 2 or something (don't know the actual command).
We did continue the RP by recovering from his shotwounds (he was about to die and stuff) including paramedics.
Out of the blue, by just chasing a suspect.

When YOU try to RP - you can pull multiple people in it. And that will have a positive affect, and I am sure you know that aswell Kevin.

I agree with Nexxt. I'd like to add that it works both ways. You can't blame a cop for how he plays, because he's the one who reacts. When he has experience of criminals who are not rping when they are a suspect, hehas  that in the back of his heads and might tend to play like another cop and go the '/gu or I kill you' way.
In the end it is up to the high ranks in the ARPD and gang leaders what they're telling their members how they are perceiving this subject and how they think everybody should and shouldn't play it out, without really telling them what to do.

QFT. In my personal opinion Hank Rafferty is the best, policeman that Argonath ever had, and ever will have. His realistic approach toward criminals, is something unique I have never saw anywhere before.

When I see he come near me when I am a suspect, we don't need to use any commands that Daco criticized, not because we know each other personally good cause we don't, but because when I do "/me drops his weapon down and puts his hands up", he will role play with me just like i raped /gu command, put me in the car, walk me to jail, and jail me without me /guing.

Too bad he's not so much active, cause if he was, he should be the main Teach on the  Police Academy.

Yeah, SRU does a really nice job in shooting defenceless and armless criminals in a car.

Shooting and blowing the car is their best solution, Not once have SRU tried to pit me .. They just drive-by and I never have guns.

Yes, the "/gu or you're dead!!!" concept is becoming a cliche, but think this : why do they do it? Cop players are not closed minded fools that can only think of one outcome to a RP. There's obviously a reason that they reject what everyone considers a better RP style. And one reason that was already brought about in another thread was that most criminals abuse the cop's trust.

So are cops doing the right thing? Well, they aren't in some ways, but we cannot blame them either as the way they act are shaped by whatever they meet while they are playing their role. That's why I picked that I don't know.
