Proposed changes to the cop and criminal system - read carefully before posting

And I mean of course, yeah guys, learn to respect all of the time and effort these people waste out of their life to make this game more to your liking. It's really odd that there was less complaining back in RS3, and once people get nice things they just want more.

1, Seems you guys forget where the request to reduce weapon prices came from...

2, Where did the idea to /giveweapon came from....

3, Where did the idea for the whole escape system come from...
(and think about just HOW does the escape system help cops!!!)

4, Criminals had MUCH more impact than they are willing to believe, all to make it appear cop only...

1, That doesn't only benefit criminals, it benefits cops, civilians... everyone... this was requested by a large majority of every faction.

2, Giveweapon also doesn't only benefit criminals, it's used by everyone.

3, We are very gratefull for this, and it is indeed a step in the right direction.

4, We know that what was done for us was a great improvement, but that still doesn't mean there isn't more work to be done.

Romeo, you are correct in who it benefits, but cops could survive with high weapon prices as well as no ability to /giveweapon. Cops get issued weaponry, and do not need SMG, M4, combat, etc. We had to survive using our deagle and mac10 back in the day and purchase guns if we wanted them. Yet we did not need to purchase them.

2, Giveweapon also doesn't only benefit criminals, it's used by everyone.

It enabled the criminals to manage a massive underground blackmarket that runs into hundreds of thousand of ammo passing around everyday. Even major criminal groups supply weapons to their associates for free.

The only source of weapons Cops get are government issued (/duty) and (/weaponequip), and to the invididual's need to purchase weapons/ armour through ammunation.

Don't whine when criminals actually have a big ass advantage over cops in terms of weapons. I'm not even surprised to have police officers fully equipped in cases, because they would never know if they would encounter someone who has enough ammo to start World War III..

Im not reading all replys here, but this topic just proves that people on top (david) doesnt understand difference between suspects (the ORANGEMAN) and Criminal groups (such as mafias).

Or made clear, since no one knew for 2 years that drive-by on a motorcycle was allowed for cops.

Same thing with other scripts probably.. all things should be made clear, and then we might suggest adding scripts.

This is what we are trying for RS5.
First make clear what we want players to do as well as what players want, and then building the tools for it. While it may not be a lot of changes, making it based on a different strategy alone will cause it to be different from the current scripts, where ideas are added randomly.
