Proposed changes to the cop and criminal system - read carefully before posting

Where I come from normal cops walk around with Kalashnikovs. And believe me everyone panics if they threaten to use them... as people believe half of them have no idea what that thing can de....

When I was on a field trip to St Petersburg I too saw Militias(cops) doing pullovers with Kalashnikov on them.

Due to the fact that players have been complaining a lot lately about cops haven't more advantages than criminals and criminals having no rights, I would like to propose the following changes:

Read the WHOLE TOPIC before posting

Criminals can not be unsuspected at all. If they get suspected, there is no escape, they will either be jailed or die.

If a criminal is jailed then they will lose more money than if they are killed, so expect more criminals to die and lose money and weapons. I'm sure they'll like that.

SWAT will not be given weapons by the government, neither will FBI or high ranking SAPD. They have to buy their own weapons for special operations.

Suspects will no longer be allowed to hide in interiors.

If a cop crashes or logs out, there is a very high chance that he gets the freecop skin and no weapons when he returns.

/cuff will be bugged. If a suspect is cuffed, they are frozen and are dragged with the cop. If the cop drives, the suspect dies. Fun for everyone!

SWAT will not have SWAT vehicles such as the enforcer or the raindances

FBI will no longer have their vehicles like their raindances, but they can have the Federal Ranchers

Fast cars like the bullet, super GT and infernus will be removed

Suspects will be able to ride pedal bikes, making them close to invincible. I'm sure the cops will like that!

Suspects will be able to ride trains and trams, ACTUALLY making them invincible. I'm sure the cops will LOVE that!





This sounds unfair, doesn't it? It sounds cruel, right? Well guess what, this is how things USED TO BE in RS3 so consider yourselves lucky that things are how they are now! Stop moaning!


I don't want to see any more discussion about cop and criminal advantages/disadvanages, it doesn't matter in the slightest who has the upper hand as you are NOT the only people in this community and we ALL KNOW IT!

I am willing to increase script support for both cops and criminals if you all stop moaning at each other. Deal?

The only reason why I don't play on Argonath is simply because some people, including a few in the administration, call me a moaner when I post new ideas that would benefit Argonath as a whole. These people find a hard time argumenting their opinion on the subject, but are always attacking me. The point being, I feel the administration has been lacking in punishing the actual moaners. Like Louis van Gaal said: "Am I the one who's so smart, or are you so dumb?" Something tells me this will never change.

The cops had a marginal advantage before, and it was worse for criminals than now, sure. However, the money they made got nerfed (which was bad for criminals, since we could no longer do monthly cop cycles to fund our groups) whilst a lot else got buffed.
Suspects got a few nice things.
Criminal groups have not yet been given any dedicated notice.

The amount of criminals not in organized crime in the FBI database far outnumbers those in organized crime.

I am a criminal IG, you may not want to view me as one caus ei don't go around blasting cops every 5 secodns like some of you do, but I am a criminal regardless. There more crimes then just killing cops and dealing drugs.
As I stated before since you all like to compare this to real life, allow me to explain something else from real life, a real life criminal is heavily outmatched IRL, his resources are dwarfed by those of nearly any government at any time.
So really you guys got what you wanted, a real life server where everything is similar to real life, see how that worked out for yah?

We know there are more crimes than drug dealing and killing cops, but we do our jobs so well that you never see any of them.

Why are you even arguing in this discussion. You are on neither side. You're just some guy in the middle, who comes in and argues against the criminal side.

That leads me believe you want something from the community. Perhaps you want to look cool defending the cops? Or gain recognition from the developers, who have over the years come to know you as the very thing you are pretending to argue against?
