Death of a User, What Happens?

I would never roleplay a funeral of anyone IRL. That's just.. damn.. No way. Too strong, deep, spiritual whatever...

For some users, it's their own way of saying goodbye to a friend in a memorable way that they know the user would have fun with if they were still alive. It's more of a way to honor the user in the game world the way they would've RP'ed out the same scenario themselves if it were just only their character's death, and it gives closer to those that were close to the user because it gives them the chance to imagine being at the user's real funeral, which they obviously cannot attend. It does seem a little weird, but in the eyes of those that just lost a friend here, it's normal.

You all say "My friend will read in newspaper" , well newspaper dont tell when someone dies.. A man dies every minute, so why would they write your name in newspaper, and dont write names of other people that died? Doesnt make any freakin sense

(Almost) all people here are young, don't you think it will be in the (local) newspaper if such a young person dies? Especially when it is in a non-nature-way.

We could have died in a tragic car accident or by suicide, and that would hit newspapers.

Over the internet or not, friends are friends, and some closer can definitely help those left behind. Trust me, always wondering what happened to your friends that randomly disappear will always make you wonder. In my StarCraft gaming clan years ago I had a girl named Tiffany that I was good friends with online who was in my clan. She disappeared one day, and even stopped checking her MySpace completely. No one has heard from her in over 5 years, yet we all wonder what happened to her, and hope she's okay. It doesn't matter how you know someone or where you know them from, because they are still a human being and friend to you in the end, and just like a friend in real life, you would probably prefer to know what happened to them if they had died.

Seriously, if I killed them, I expect that the same dirt sharp, personally I do not know if someone would not mind.
