[NOTE] "You wana request a ban for studying?" - What?!

WARNING: This is not about "DO NOT PLAY", This is only about "Stop requesting bans!!". As few members didn't really understand what I meant by this, so im saying, Argonath <3 - SAMP is nothing without argo :P


I've been reading a lot, really a lot of unban requests that said "Ban reason: Requested a ban"..

Lets think, obviously you were thinking:
1) "Omg omg nooo I couldn't do this", coming home after school and trying to study, but then your eyes were moving to the side of the room where your computer is placed, and you had nothing to do with yourself instead of just turning your computer on and starting playing, that actually should have caused a big trouble in the future for you, simply, shitty grades.
2)"I have to study, I cannot use my computer. Damn, I cannot control it, it taking over me, I need to get my connection with the server closed!" - school studying, what else...exams - kinda same, etc.

Well, I could say that I had never have such problem... But there is 100 other ways not to cut into manager's doings by begging about unban request after you were asking an admin to ban you..

If you're really "computergameattactable" this is for yah, avoid banning yourself:

• School Studying - think about your future - life is not a game, get it over and study
• School Studying (2nd try) - remove SAMP from the computer. Then before turning on the game think twice about school, your future is not a game.
• School Studying (3rd try) - You couldn't actually have only SAMP on your computer, by logical way you should have some more games, so, just think - other games dont get you dis attracted to it, but SAMP does - are you kidding me? C'mon, think about it.
  

And If you gone say that "School Studying (3rd try) " is retarded from me, use the first two.

Just always remember, real life and games - two different things, and we all can understand that game life (virtual life) if much more different from the real one, you have much more freedom here, in the game, with what you can do crazy stuff, about what you could not even think In the real life. Everybody understand it. But you have to get that those two DO depend on each other, and your REAL life should be on the FIRST PLACE. You should understand that you CANNOT grow up on the games, you CANNOT live by playing games, you CANNOT build your future on the computer games.

I am not saying that you dont have to play, no, dont think so, of course you have to play Argonath :P , but always have in mind that your virtual life should not go over the real life, you should not DEPEND on your computer. Your maturity should be more than that.

And alright, lets think you did request a ban. 4 days later - "WOWOWOWOW OMFG OMFG OFMG SHCOOL IS OVER I THOUGH IT WOULD BE MORE OMG OMG ARGONATH IM CUMING!!" - Nope, forget it. You requested a ban, that is serious, and managers won't unban you so fast, 2 weeks - minimum period. Wasn't that the bad move to request a ban ? Now what, bai bai fun as you though ? There is also pluses, you getting more real life, but still, I would prefer to have access to the places I want all the time.

Came home, did your work, got on server - enjoooooyyy..

I am not saying you have to follow it, just at least take a time to think it over please.

I know how you mean.

I left school, but not with the best of GCSE's / qualifications.

But I worked hard in College.

I got a level 2 ICT certificate, now this helped me to get the Level 3 Course i wanted.

I'm taking advanced ICT next year.

I was not on Argonath when I was in my last years of school, I was on a place worse / no were near the standard of ArgonathRPG.


Basic rp has helped me build real life skills. So I know lifes not a game. But games can have any sort of impact on a life.

What could I do to keep me busy? Anyway, Roman, does this mean that you are leaving forever? If you do, I will. You were a kool criminal when we had to sides of beliefs of the game.

You are all with me forever <3, This thread has nothing to do with my relation to the SAMP, I am extremely active on the server. I took a 6-day-break, because of school studies, and it has nothing to do with SAMP, I was styding, I put all stuff up, and now Im playing SAMP and enjoying this.




And yeah. You're right. Of course we have to get more life, but I LOVE GAMES !  :redface:
I met a nice girl, instead of takin a bus, she walking home, 4 miles, from the SAME school I am in, living near me, and walking home :O, after taking her phone number and a nice conversation I decided to walk with her xD. America- yah, boring as hell. For fun in US you need a license, not permit, but license. Then you can have some fun. Games helps us to burn time and have some FUN with virtualFriends :P


TinMan, you got the idea, but noone will leave SAMP, there is not RL without Argonath :P,  this thread is just to say people - Do not request bans, just a little bit of SELF CONTROL !!

Yea I didn't really understand the point of it..
I taught myself awhile back to (try to) totally not give a shit about anything at all when it comes to this place. If I did then I would be in a far weaker emotional and mental state, and that is saying something. If I took everything seriously, then I'd get fucked off almost every day and I can't be bothered with that. As a side effect of ignoring reality and not caring, I tend to get nothing constructive done and feel less attached. As a result, no need to request a ban or anything.


I always thought one thing about the whole "asking for a ban" thing, and that was this:
If you are so hopelessly attached to Argonath that you cannot regulate your own life around it, and hence need to ask for a ban.. (no offence to those who did) then surely you would be one of the first to make a secret account on which to procrastinate and sooth your mental addiction?
Just kinda seemed pointless to me.
