If someone has for example a ACR with stopping power, but you want to continue to use cold blooded, use the UMP, its a powerful gun even without stopping power.

While an AK-47 needed 2 shots in the head without stopping power and 5 shots in the chest, UMP used 1 bullet in the head and 2-3 in the chest. And it's not overpowered? PLEASE....

AC-130 is hard to shoot down, but similarly its hard to get that many kills with it and it doesn't last as long as the chopper gunner.

On a video on TheMoodieSweede's channel a guy hit around 20 kills with AC-130 on Afghan. Can't find it now tho.

UMP with stopping power is only 1 bullet, not without it, without stopping power its 2-3 shots in the head.

Today I was using AK-47, it took 3 shots in the head to kill the guy without stopping power.

Sometimes though it might only be 1 shot in the head to kill if the guy is already injured.

Most of the time on most maps AC-130 is pretty useless, when people hide inside places its pretty hard to kill them other then when they are spawning or something. Maps like Afghan which are open maps of course people are going to get a lot of kills but the rest of the time I find even Chopper Gunner better on maps such as skidrow.

UMP45 fires .45 ACP catridges not 9mm.. and they have a reputation for effectiveness againest human targets.
So I'd say the  (MW2) UMP45 resembled it's real life counter-part.

Wow that i failed. I mixed it with P90 while comparing it with P90 itself. Darn.

In any case, how the heck can it be more powerful than the 7,62 rounds of AK-47?

If most of the modern guns can't compare with AK-47 power and piercing, how come some tiny SMG can?

I tryed for myself today, UMP takes 3 shots without stopping power in the head, and with stopping power it took 2.

As for the range of the guns, when you start using certain sub-machine guns from long range they are very hard to control and keep on the target even if you have stopping power, examples such as MP5k and the P90.

But I agree with you on the Mini-Uzi...

But overall I still don't think most guns in the game were over-powered, however there are 1 or 2 exceptions in the game.

Anyways One good thing about new cod Dedicated servers. So i would say, no mater how good or crappy mw:2 is (and i do think its crappy, that it single handedly killed PC FPS) it lost from very start.

 Call of Duty has successfully earned "mainstream" status, because many non-gamers actually know what it is.  Then we've got the CoD community, who spend a good chunk of their online time either bashing or gushing over the next Call of Duty game.

Regardless, the series maintains consistent wow factor, and this time around, Treyarch's working hard to live up to the precedence Modern Warfare set.  Tonight at the Black Ops multiplayer premiere event, we learned that the latest Call of Duty will have two new modes.

As it turns out, a good 30 to 40 percent of the MW2 crowd avoid online multiplayer, and Treyarch took a hint.  The new Combat Training mode essentially pits gamers against bots with human-like play styles and behavior.  It's an effective training method, but if you're still terrified of multiplayer, Combat Training does support co-op and multiplayer elements (i.e. Perks).

Wager Match is something born almost directly from community feedback.  Here, you've got four different modes, and progression is separate from "normal" multiplayer.  Before each match, you'll be betting in-game currency called "CoD Points," which you may earn back by placing in the top three.  And how exactly does one make it to the top?  Depends on the mode.  Once you've accumulated enough, CP can be used for purchasing weapons and other good stuff.

One in the Chamber - Your only weapon is a pistol with one bullet, meaning if you miss someone, you'll be stuck with a knife.  Acquire more bullets by killing other players, whether by shooting or knifing, and try not to use up all three of your lives.

Gun Game - Earn better weapons with each kill.  Being killed will set you back a tier to your previous weapon.

Sticks & Stones - A crossbow and ballistic knife are all you have/need.

Sharpshooter - All players start with the same weapons, which change after a period of time.  You'll continue cycling through these weapons at random.

That's PC and I don't give a fuck about the PC version as am a 360 player and probaly soon to be PS3 aswell.
Bad luck for those on PC then.
