A message to the oldies.

Greetings Folks

This message is directed to the players who are here for a year or more..

Recently I sat and wondered many things... among of them, once subject has been the money in SA-MP!
Do we need them? Do they help us at something? What do we gain by them? Why is it worth keeping them?

My mind found a numerous of answers.. many... but mostly the things that came through my mind is that it's useless for the oldies to have money stored in bank and never used...

Why should we have money? to own a vehicle? What does it offer us? Just a /carlock & ability to have car tuned & spawn where you want?

Useless... We have free stuff on our server, for example the LSAP Vehicles Why don't you just use them instead of buying your own? What does it benefit? Just the feeling of ownership & RPG?

My point here is... We do not need money... Money is useless.. so I would like to make a small suggestion... If you are one of these guys who has many $$ in bank or on hand.. and just keep them.. without even using them.. WHY don't you help the new players or the poor ones to fulfill their dream? The server needs new blood... people thirsty for Argonath... The average of the old ones is saying "I'm bored".. and the new ones love to explore Argonath... WHY don't you support them? Try it for once, and you will see how nice feeling it is to share what you have with others! Don't be selfish and hold them all for your self.. if you have money which are not needed, you can do a few things on the following List!

-Donate to poor
-Make Events ! Have Fun!
-Donate to social organizations who help the community, EX; BCA (Curse) or CMB! So each citizen can have some $$ once he receives his passport!
-Support / Make lotto or payday
-Support some to a new player!

Why? Cause you don't need them! What's the point of having money when you do not use them? If you are not happy with them, why do you hold them? Make some people happy! Donate to the poors!

Lately I see people saying that rich is the one who has the most $$.. but you are wrong! A person can be called rich only if he has successfully fulfilled every target they had! Those who are happy with what they have and not want more.. and most important, those who have friends! Be Social ! go out meet new people.. Don't be bored! There are many people out there who are waiting you to find them! So go and find them! Don't close your self and have only a small amount of friends... You can have unlimited! There's no limit! Argonath is a server with freedom & a few rules...

In conclusion.. with this topic.. I try to explain to the old players that it's not always needed to save money for your self & never use therm! There are a tons of things you can waste them on! Mostly, making people happy! Donate to people who need them!

Your help can be small as regarding the amount of $$, but my friend every little effort helps into a new begin!

Good Luck to these who do not go "TL;DR" and understand my point, and as well.. help poor players!

As for me... I've had enough of money.. I'm bored of money! I don't need money to be happy! I need friends! Friends and targets which I succeed at, make me feel stronger, better and happier!
I just gave out my total amount of money for the fifth time, one hour ago I gave 160,000$ to poor people in argonath... Big thanks to Chuck, [Rstar]IcyAero & =AV=Aksel

Yeah I see your point to share money if you have tons of it. I only have money to have home, cars and business. And you made intresting point that why I want those? Well yeah because of role playing. Sure I could sell all what I have but that will take something what is important to my role playing away. And that's pretty much the reason why I play on this server. So not going to sell those to just give my all money to poors. Sorry but it just sounded like that when you was describing this. But yeah I agree that if you do have tons of money and not even going to use those for anything..why not make some events or something. I myself gave 100 000 away on my b-day to give 1000 for everyone as payday. Try something like that out. It's really kinda cool

I try the best for my self.

My self has as main targets:

-Have Fun
-Have Friends!
-Make other people happy & help them if possible
-Care for others! :o

Some of us veterans gained money by working (trading, roleplaying, etc.). Some of us did not receive any "donations". If new players would love to "explore Argonath" and "fulfill their dreams", shouldn't they work for themselves? By giving away money, we basically give them everything. They will no longer depend on themselves, but on others. Their so-called achievements would be of others.

10k donation is fine... and a small help is always a good start

Every new player has as a dream to make a successful life... This means, all of them want to have 1 car (at least), a house and a business Why not give them a little hand? It's not bad
If you were a new player, wouldn't you like someone giving you a small amount of money (could be the same as welcome money) to help you? All of us work + get donations.. Donations are also by server, via lottos and paydays

i didnt get annything when i started. you know i think if you would give some new players some money.. they might just leave and never comeback.. bai bai money. fact 2 is that if youre become more regular you will start making friends.. those new friends might give some money and help and you are sure you make a good dontation. but that what i think.

Finding friends on your first days on server is something good You can have someone to speak to, someone to hang out with and someone to share things with

Not all players get help by other.. that's cause other people are either money hungry.. or just saving money for no reason... but if you help people.. it's on your self... If you wanna feel good.. I suggest you do it Even if small amount.. every effort boosts a player to a new begin

I remember the people who first helped me... It was the EX =RM=Stabby and later Dream Corleone and now.. Dream Green.. who introduced me into the server.. he teached me the basic... afterward it was matute that made me feel inside a community I stayed here thanks to him

I collect and save money "like a jew" according to everyone on the Araatus TS.
Why?
:: In case my business gets reevaluated.
:: In case someone in Araatus needs money suddenly for a really fucking good reason.
:: For a rainy day.
:: As practice for real life.

I still have no idea how to make money on this server so all I can do is save what I have and hope for the best. Call me selfish if you will, but I give money for good work - not for nothing.
