Age of Gangs

For a long time, since first months of 2008, there were no active Gangs in Argonath SA:MP.
I personally wanted to bring them back and opened a few gangs, with the help of other leaders we managed to bring back the Gang-life roleplay in the server. We managed to run big and succesfull groups such as 58th Street, Sullivan, Jefferson Ballas, Green Gang, Wilson Gang. The gang era raised to it's top at April of 2010. Active players, gang wars, drug deals.. All about Gangs.
These days gangs started to close down once again. 58th Street gang left as the only castle of Gang-roleplay. I don't know if it will close down too or not (hope it won't). But sadly seems like it's end of Gang Era, so i'd like to thank EVERYONE who has been roleplaying along with us.

If I wasen't in i9, I would have brought back ECPS (again) but yeah you don't see many street gangs sticking around for to long 58th Street is the only decent one left as it has experienced roleplay leaders unlike others who were run by players who hardly knew anything about street gangs and closed shop within a few week.

58th Street is the best roleplaying group I have ever been in. I'm very proud of it and I've find a lot of friends through it. It takes out everything I've roleplayed on Argonath, totally. But yes, as you say, Blacky, there aren't so many gangs left, which is sad. It's all about the mafia roleplay, and in my opinion, I can't actually name many that is doing it well. I think those who knows me, knows which ones I prefer, and which ones I do not.

Roleplaying in a streetgang is absolutely top roleplay. It's always action and usually causing a lot of fun all the time. So, I don't actually know why people choose mafia roleplay instead of gang roleplay. So, for those who always does the regular mafia roleplay 24/7, try to change role for a week or two, maybe you'll even stick to it afterwards.

The times of TB vs. CPC or South Central G's / Willowfield G's or even ECPS were good times. I doubt they can be revived.

I personally remember once being on my non admin account (:redface:) where I was standing around the Pizza Stack in Idlewood and got accused of being a blood because of the skin I was using. Back in them days people COULD open up these kind of groups without having, for example, me going "OMG U f**kING FORCING ME TO RP I AM NOT BLOOD!!111111"

And of course another time when I was on my non admin with a granny skin and wandered into current 58th street territory (blood territory?) where I was screaming like a maniac, and they helped me to a car or something. Another example of roleplaying with anyone, no matter what their tag, name, or color said..

Pathetic.. I can imagine "freecop: hi sir what u guys doing here??" "(((((((LEAVE NOW STOP RUINING RP OMG". Just go along with it man, freecops aren't that bad if you know how to deal with them. And screaming at them to go away will just end up with you getting shot, killed, suspected, or all of the above.

I meant cops who intend to ruin rp, which happens almost everyday, why cant they just rp? why the main aim is to kill the suspects?

Yesterday we had a great RP which has been ruied because an officer powergamed me. I wished they had completed the rp to the end but it seems it makes them bored when they cant chase and  :sig:

I remember that, It was me who RP with you as Liza_Jackson when I was in EBB, was fun. I helped you (you were on granny skin) and I remember another gang came to spray the walls in our hood and none listen to an old granny screamming, of course I RP a girl so I got some heart and I dropped you at LSPD. I repeat was fun.
