I am planning to switch over from Verizon to AT&T. I currently posses an LG Voyager. I will probably buy the 32GB model.

And to be honest, N8 is not going to go far. I mean, ask anyone in the US what N8 is, and they wont know, ask them what an iPhone is, and they could tell you everything. It's just not mainstream and wont hit the public like what the iPhone, iPod, and possibly the iPad did to the market. The reason why is because of the app store, jailbreaking, and because its a status symbol.

The reason I am getting it is because no Android device has taken much attention of me. I used the Droid Incredible, myTouch, and the Droid. To be honest, they all feel like crap. I mean sure Android is great and all, but it's just not the same as an iOS.

It's not about how popular a phone is. It's about if you like you yourself.

And then one thing, with the new iPhone OS 4.0 - the will get a step closer to other devices their OS.
Actually, I really like the Apple stuff, for aswell the reason - that their App Store BEATS ALL OTHERS.

That N8 is good, the outside and hardware looks awesome - but Apple will beat it with their software soon.
I will see JAVA coming on iPhone soon enough, and about Flash.
Flash is getting less accepted in the future, due to HTML5. Already companies like Microsoft and Apple said they prefer HTML5 over Flash and theirfore it's pretty useless to put time on Flash, what's eating battery aswell due to their powerfull resources they need.
And HTML5 is support by Safari on the iPhone as far as I am concerned.

So yeah, I still think that Apple beats ass over all these other phone, and people who do not like Apple are feel to think that, your opinion will always stay, but if you look at the overall image, instead of the hardware specifications.

Anyways, I will stick with my 3GS and enjoy the iOS 4.0

HTML5 does not come in the same league as Flash. First of all, Flash works much more efficient than HTML5. The argument about Flash being a CPU-eater compared to HTML5 is a lie (test it yourself). Secondly, Flash has much more programming capabilities (i.e. plesk).
