What can you role play?

When I saw the name 'Argonath RPG' I knew it was a role play server..

Today, I saw a speeding blue car, I attempted a traffic stop and followed the subject to the Temple pay n spray. He later pulled over in Temple. He got out of his car, M4 in hand. I commanded him to drop his weapon and he took out a pistol. He aimed at me, I didn't fire, although I should have. I guess at some point, he did /showbadge, but I wanted to roleplay and not go 'OMG blue name, o u kop, i leave nao' like a retarded faggot. I ignore names and blimps alike. He got back in his car as an FBI agent in a Rancher showed up lights and siren. The subjct took off in his car to the pay n spray and I followed commanding him to pull over as it wasn't worth it. Then he suspected me for aiming at a federal agent. How would I know. I drove off, trying to cool down, they shot my car as Deputy Chief and LT. Vince and Ben Samiir showed up. My car blew up, I stood there, explaining to them I was only trying to roleplay. Apparently, =AV=Deejay ordered FBI agent =AV=Lennie_B to shoot a standing still suspect. He followed orders.I'm highly disappointed in them, but I need to know, what can I role play

roleplaying - (also RP, role-playing) is a game or exercise where the participants assume the roles of characters and collaboratively improvise to create stories.
If you understand proper english, you could see it says nothing in there about acting as if in real life, which you tried to do.

If Argonath was strictly a roleplay server, the name would have 'real life' contained in it. And even better... nametags would be disabled like in the 1000432454554 real life servers out there.

While yes, you can roleplay however you want.. with such rules as to ignore nametags, don't try to enforce it on others who don't roleplay in such strict style.

Chase calm down, I know the situation he described has some of your babies in it, but still calm down. He didn't say he wants "leet-half-assed-real-life-die-and-leave-the-server" Argonath RPG. He is just dissapointed how that situation turned out.

But to finally answer your question- you can role play whoever, whatever you want in Argonath, if you want role play different "why did chicken crossed the road" jokes go ahead, but you have to understand, but many may not understand it right away, For some reason I also think that in this situation there was just some misunderstandings.

Yes, you can go RPing whatever you want, however you like....
Knowing the fact that newcommers who decides to follow laws track always look up into FBI and SWAT and high ranked cops (( Officer+ )).
Building up on the statement above, I think there should be more roleplay from FBI agents in order to build up a strong team in SAPD/ARPD.
What I've seen, many good cops who are pretty fun to roleplay with but in constrast I've seen those who only come for shooting - Like.... A cop stops someone at a routine traffic stop or even who suspect directly for speeding, they usually persuit the criminals - When the criminal is barricated you might see many 'high-ranked' cops comming for shooting-only, which in my opnion, shouldn't be the procedure.
Once I was doing a kidnap, I was still learning roleplay, but I remember freecops comming inside the property throwing smoke granades( /me throws a smoke granade...etc ) and they rescued the hostage successfully only using their creativity.
That's why I'll be a freecop forever  .

I don't think he wants the FBI agent to get demoted/fired. I think he's only opening a discussion about the actual issues on the server in order to find a good way to bypass them.

Exactly. Both FBI agents are close friends, I've known them both for over a year(I think).

Be in that situation yourself and you would be pissed off aswell. Atleast i would be. The thing i hate the most is that many cops shoot standing still suspects without even asking for surrender.
