So the game was released yesterday here in the UK. It hasn't disappointed me - it's f**king awesome. Beast Mode especially. Something satisfying about ramming down an entire team with a berserker.

Haven't played much of the campaign yet (only done the first couple of chapters) but it seems really interesting. The games a lot more faced paced now which leads to some intense, all out battles.

I either played gears of war 1 or 2 on PC.. I was a child then, and got to a scary scene where I'm alone.. And a beast chasing me.. I eventually couldn't had killed him or escaped, later on I never played.. I expect Gears of war 3 to be good.

Finished GoW 1 - epic
Finished GoW 2 - Much of the same, still epic
GoW 3 - Almost identical to the others, no real improvement.
