Need clarification on "cant force RP rule"

not trying to make one of those whinning topics, but i need main admins to clear something for me and im sure for many others too.

today we (gvardia) organized to do a kidnaping, so we went to LSPD and picked out hostage, =AV=Dave, we came up to him started RPing, he then did /me presses the red botton on the dash board" and then he TPed away. i asked him where he went, he said to deal with a report. ye i can understand that, then i asked him if he is coming back to this RP after he deals with that report, he said no. So i understanded he doesnt wanted to RP with us, becuase there is a "cant force RP rule" on server.

then few minutes later, we gvardia was driving 2 cars full with armours and shit, then 2 cop cars pull us over for no reason, and told us to get out and lay down on the ground, they were aiming weapons on it and stuff like that. so few minutes later i told them in OOC that we dont want to RP with them, just like dave didnt want to RP with us. so we got up and slowly got in our cars after telling them in ooc that we will not RP with them. those cops su'd all of us and then started shooting and killed us.

so i need main admin to clarify this mess,
how does "cant force RP" rule work exactly?

In Dave's case, he is allowed to respond to a report since he's an administrator. He is also allowed to say he won't roleplay with you.

In your case, I am sure the officers saw you breaking a traffic law, which caused them pulling you over. The fact that you broke the law gives you NO right to say "I don't want to roleplay with you".

So, what? If people see Gvardia in armor, they are allowed to stop them?
If those were free officers, which I bet they were, I don't see any reason for suspicion. He said they were driving.
If this is a free "flow" RP server as many claim, I believe there should be no confusion about "forcing RP" rule.

Guys.. life is unfair and sometimes its even more unfair by the people in it, in their eyes they could/are right, in your eyes they aren't. In this case =AV=Dave is the admin and has the power to do whatever he really needed to do / wanted to do. honestly i would suggest to make a report if the rule is favored to Gvardia in the situation.


what the cops did is not procedure and that should definetly be put to ARPD reports.. Cops have no right to aim with Lethal weaponary at civilians who pose no real threat.

If he has a good reason not to RP, for instance an event is starting, the cops should let him go. If he does not want because he does not want to be stopped by cops, then he should not give them reason to pull him over.

If he does not reply, suspecting him is not against the rules.

Basically if you take the initiative of doing something that could create roleplay - then you are subjected to roleplay.

Clearly stating you didn't want to rp and being killed anyway is DM and all of those cops should be punished.
If a cop says he doesn't want to RP and the criminals kill them, they get into trouble.

Because the people who called for backup, annoyed the hell out of my people, to provoke a shoting in any way possible, as pictures proves and talks by itself. And nothing is funny.

Basically if you take the initiative of doing something that could create roleplay - then you are subjected to roleplay.

Basically, if you aren't breaking any law or doing anything suspicious or if you're not starting a role play, and you don't want to role play, the police side can still force you to role play.

Because the pictures shows a nice guide on how to force someone on role play, by using "traffic check". Totally a traffic check when you see the pictures isn't it ?
