If you did not want to RP with us, you should have not done what you were told by cops..

What you did:
Shouted that you would take us all to Court (Action)
Fall on floor on request of us (on stomach) - (Action)
I am not sure if I can call this, you got off ground and got in your cars possibly to trying to escape.. (Was not near to hear.)
And after your car blew up, instead of you guys /GU when suspected you started fighting back..!! Taking out guns and shooting us.. if you did not want to RP or something.. why didn't you just /GU at first?

From this situation how can you say we were forcing RP when you were doing rp actions also? That's what I wonder..

I didn't disagree with the idea of throwing out /em S/F. Depending on the player needs, as my quote shows above.

On the PM basis I can too, register an RP/or not in progress. But if a player approaches you and asks you money in /local? What would you do Gandalf? Would you RP giving him the cash or just /send ID amount - bbye?

Third: If I see a player using brackets, I coop. That's common in RP.

Gandalf, I have honestly seen people use that type of s/f where theyare telling people what to type / do etc, so I understand what you mean. But the way it is supposed to be (or at least how most who know how to use it, use it.):

At least, that is how I use it. If the player who is victim to the action, is confused on what animation to do I would help him out and say something like (try xx or xx).

I also think that we could live without s / f, but wouldn't be using the same thing in a different style? I mean, if there is no s / f, what do we say? /me trips xx. that might as well be called forced RP, so cross that out. And we can't say /me tries to trip xx, because thats just s / f worded differently, correct? And if the player does not want to do the action the one who is attempting to do it, he will have to say in out of character that he doesn't, which could be much easier with /em f. - Of course, the victim of action could do /me manages to not trip and continues walking, but then the one attempting the action would probably end up moaning or saying (omg dude stop breaking up RP every time)

Anything that happend in local will be answered with RP. If he asks me money I will, depending on the mood of the day, ask him what he would invvest it in, promise him a million but send it $1 at the time, or call the police to apprehend a bum.

As for using it, if we would wish to fully enforce our style just like other servers wish to enforce theirs, we could. But we let our players enjoy freedom, even about things that we feel are not needed.
