Future is a solid RPer. He uses S/F as other players. I don't see that as a disgrace.

S/F is mostly like enforced by some roleplayers, as if you don't go the same way they roleplay you get called a 'non-rper', he's not a disgrace for RPing that way, he's just following the majority :3

Trobby, when people use S/F, they expect to get S or F, not a /me. That's why S/F is dumb and unneeded.
Your examples are all right though.

Hmm...There's one bad example that I should've put up to cover that.

Another bad example : 

Player1 attempts to murder Player2 with a knife
Player1 : S/F?
Player2 is busy trying to buy his can of sprunk and doesn't notice Player1
Player1 : S/F?
Player2 is busy trying to buy his can of sprunk and doesn't notice Player1
Player1 : S/F????????????????????????
Player2 is busy trying to buy his can of sprunk and doesn't notice Player1
Player1 : noob

As you said, bad example of good RP.

I was glad to read this guide by Jingle, because when I just joined this server I got taught by some great Roleplayers, and they learned me to use the S/F feature, even in 58th Street Conecta was everyone using it. :redface:

Yeah, it was something who came up very quick, and everyone was like "this is the shiiiit", but then you look at it and like "Damn, this is really sucky afterall, isn't it.

Yeah when I first joined someone and I was rping in LSPD.  I remember a stracci member or someone said "No you noob you are powergaming, you have to type "attempt" in the rp and use s/f"

I look back now and I know it was stupid as hell

You find it stupid because of an approach. He could have told you something like this: Are you on the ground? Do you want to continue RP?
Guess that douche wasn't helpful..... really good example of helping a new player.
