I highly disagree on this. (actually, made me wanna puke)
Especially if it's an newer player.
New players, who have went thru the "f**k this server i wanna dm or: I wanna parcipate and see what's it's like" have most likely spent maybe 8-9k on weapons or just been spending it on unessecary things.
Let's say the player has 1k left in money, and realises he gotta invest it somewhere, luckily! He invests it into growing weed.
So our player bought seeds for 800$ and the rest 200$ is for gas etc.
So he get's hold on 160 grams. Around 4k money, which would help him really much.
Now, growing 160 seeds in the shortest time possible (excluding rivals an travel time) would be: 1 hour.
So, tell me, who want's to spend 1 hour in an game and then get's ripped off by some jackass?
Maybe you guys don't care about new players (those who said no) but I do.
Also, another situation that will mostly happen to new players depending on the perpetrator is an asshole or not, I quoted it from ARPD where I wrote.
Once again I got an recent situation.
I'm growing weed. Two random players in an helicopter land nearby on the roof. Both take out an sniper each, fire away and kill me. I ask why they killed me.
"Ur an weed dealer and so am I, So i gotta kill you to protect my stash, it's just RP".
I see so many flaws here that it actually made me loose nearly all hope I had in sa:mp.
1: There are around 5 other weed locations in Argonath RPG sa:mp, randomly finding another player that's growing weed in one field, kill him and say rp?
2: There's no way in hell that killing = RP. Unless for rare cases (except cops fighting suspects or vice-versa (if cops shot suspectsomething weird.
3: He could have went to another weed field, seriosly there's around 5 more.
4: Awesome excuse to kill any players who are growing at an weed field because "I gotta protect my stash", good work. abuse the excuse since players accept it due to ZOMG RP.
5: We did once again not need to kill eachother on mta:vc to RP. So why do the same on sa:mp?
6: I was unarmed, had no weapon at all. I run around in circles to avoid being shot at.
That's something that's likely to happen. (Maybe not with sniper rifles, but with other weapons)
If an new player happen to read this. Never ever deal with someone who asks you to send all weed at once, or someone who "gotta go to the ATM". It's bullshit and lies.
Always deal weed in parts. For example you are going to sell 50 grams of weed, then always to the deal in 5's

Buyer sent new player ammount of money the 5 grams is worthAnd then keep going like that. In short, the scammer is "owned" because the only ammount of weed he got is the ammount you sent. So he can ethier deal like an real man and stop scamming so he can get the serious ammount, or leave and scam you of those 5 grams. In which case you will know to never deal weed with that scammer again. (Always make sure they pay for the parts you have sent)
If he decides to rob you, then it's up to YOU to agree to the robbery, and even then. You should only RP an little. Robbing someone of 10000$ is not okay at all to ask for, leave or run away or report him for DM if he follows and tries to kill you (most in this moment would say "it's just rp" but that is complete bullshit in my ears, maybe doing some gunwounds to RP scare the player you are attempting to robb, but not killing).
I for example never kill those who tries to steal weed from me when i'm growing. I could RP and shot him and almost wound him to death. but I do never kill them. It's unessecary and would go against my principle. If they repeat it I might actually kill them if I can, but only in extreme cases.
Also, for weed stealers. Is it really neccesary to do what you are doing? There's 4 more weedfield to choose from, give the players an break...
It's such an shame admins won't do anything about this just because the constitution says it's illegal, how about regulating the rules so that new players are protected (as in can report scamming) if thier account is no older than 20 days? In 20 days hopefully the new players would have got enough experience to RP the scamming if he really wants too, and is not forced because of some jackass.
