Because the 'minimum requirements' mean the requirements to be able to run the game, not smooth, just run it.
This is about if you can run/play the game smoothly or atleast in a state that's playable.

Also Kayo. 800x600 Resolution has quite a difference compared to 1600x1200. So i suggest people also post their resolutions.
Also define "Should WORK" I mean what? The game works on my Pentium 4. But at 10 fps. For some dude with a Athlon ONE @ 2.21ghz you say that it should work. And the next guy with a PHENOM II 955 3.2ghz you say the same thing. They have a huge difference.

One more thing.

atleast in a state that's playable

For some people 25fps is very playable and some idiots say that 30 fps is bad and they claim that they can notice a difference between 30 and 50 fps

Leon that should be able to run it on high as I can with my Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 with only 2Gb Ram.

Yes and also your average fps and MINIMUM fps. And also if your speaking the truth then ill swap my Athlon II x3 for a Phenom II x2 at 3.2ghz with more L3 cache than yours so that better run it on high settings :P
