Pepper cop scripts haven't changed since 09.  We still had orange suspects and stuff like that.  The problem so many Argo veterans left Argonath.  I remember seeing a lot of people leave in 09.  I do believe some scripts need to be removed but main problem is the players.  Most of the players on Argonath think Argonath is a DM server.

First of all, talk for yourself...
Secondly, scripts did not change a lot, but moaning raised for sure... So thats the problem of getting more moaners, not a bad script...

Aragorn's right, if you want the old Argonath back, stop moaning about scripts and let admins decide..
If suspects aren't turning orange then the cops need to search a suspect through more then 100 people mostly? While there are other jobs, and about the civillian jobs, i think there are enough civillian jobs.. you just need to roleplay it. and btw more scripts = more lag

I just came back and had some great RP experiences with several people so yes it still does exists.
but its very rare.

Even the most feared and known criminals cop hunt nowadays, cop hunting is very common now.
criminals dont really see the real intention of being a criminal after the crime:
they just wait at a place for cops to come, or will start searching cops themselves instead of trying to escape.

What i have always wanted was a more harder way in becoming a cop:
like at least a passport, but what i prefer first to have a test or be part of the SAPD first.

but thats not up to me but up to the main admins, this will make the server less interesting to join first though, thats why it doesnt exists yet.

also admin response isnt always great, certainly at early times when there is a lack of admins

I don't mind it, I never pay attention,until that point of culmination, when they take it to public chat. Some players have an ego, sizing Himalayas, that they return hundred times from death(as police officers) and cannot beat the suspected person. Then they moan on main chat, saying: "OMG, camp, in the building, cop hunter". Or the criminals: "OMG, you returned after death 1337 times,cops suck, if I could return I keel yo omg", and they actually return just to satisfy their ego, or not knowing the rules and get kicked eventually. Process of moaning continues after they return. n my point of view, every moaner should be temporary banned for 60 minutes. If 1 full hour isn't enough for them to cool down, they shouldn't be playing this game.

Admins respond and respond perfect I would say... As for lack of admins - many of them are on vacations nowadays...

As for harder cop work - its a game, why the hell we should make one of the roles be harder then others? What? Criminals shoot less and less abuse?

Its a game, not a prison... Cops already cannot breath normal on server, on every their step - tons of rules... And I will not support any further difficulties against police role...

All it translates to is moan moan moan...I remember when FlameMan and I made the very first two bans for moaning in perhaps late 2008 / early 2009...But alas, that's besides the point.

The most weird, here one "smartass" sits and talks about Argonath veterans that they left Argonath cos of orange blinks (what a pathetic kids in da game den)... He'd better ask himself then (if he liked that much Argonath veterans) why they joined and became veterans on this server with those "zomg bad orange blinks" and why they left with no script changes...

Waving "Old Argonath Veterans" is just a coloring own fake facts about server they play on...

I saw such cases from non-cop not once even... Tens for admin duty... Should we ban them from non-cop role and make as a punishment cop duty for them?

Or, even better, make all cops have to pay 15k to go on duty, and they have to pay for all their own ammo.
This will make no one want to be a cop.
