Possibility to buy new console (need help)

Hi ya guys, i was visiring a local's company website were i had <ahem> my Wii  year and I came across the console prices it have.. I could save up to buy another console but thing is, i don't know what to choose! Ex, a used ps3 costs 180 euros (60gb) while a new (120gb) costs 260.. Now, xbox 360 arcade edition used one costs 80 euros and new one 160.. And new 3004 psp costs 140.. Is it worth buying xbox;ps? If yes which is worth more?

No suggestions for further things guys.. Due to no $$... I heard xbox arcade has 3 cores , which probably means more power? Question still here.. Which and why?

Just get a Nintendo DS if you're broke.

Why get DS when there is Wii :p, after reading a few for the consoles like that xbox is nois, has hardware probs, needs batteries, 100€+++for internet adapter ans subscription for mmo.. I'll save up for the 60gb ps3.. Anything wrong with my choice? :p 2/5 of my mates also have the ps series(1;2;3)

Well for me I guess it would depend on these things:

- Are you just looking for a console for gaming, go with Xbox.
- Or are you looking for a console with more of a media centre element to it that also plays games, go for PS3.
- Do your friends own Xbox's or PS3's?
- Look at the small details like you just mentioned above, noise, batteries for the controller, online subscription.
- Watch reviews online to see what people with neutral views think.

I own a PS3, don't regret buying it as its a excellent product, friends own a PS3 too so if I had to choose again it would be PS3.

Exactly.. Two friends of mine have it also.. And I also want to play online a few times without having to pay fees for it.. I've seen a few videos of 'home' and that should be fun.. I hope/wish for getawat 3 to get out sometime as I really love the series

It's better to join in on the fun with them, so i recommend the PS3

Well all my friends have pc an most have ps2 but a few also have ps3 so :p I already saved 1/3 of it's price :p

XboX is cheaper, though you have a bluray on PS3. So you can download HD movies and play them . Right?

I have a PS3, I don't regret buying it in any way. The best thing ever. My friends xbox has broken maybe 7 times?

Well i dont wnna pay for onlie when i barelly use it..xbox needs much for a lan adapter, which ps has both wireless and lan ready.. As for blu ray, i already have a blu ray player connected to 40' full hd lol..
