Before you go and attack people with such an ignorant show of hate, maybe you could open your eyes and realize that they are. Have you even seen the 9/11 Memorial at the WTC Ground Zero site that will be opened 9/11 this year? Have you seen the hundreds of organizations created to help the families of the victims, and to help bring about change in the country to prevent more deaths? Have you seen the news about all the new American policies, laws, and Constitutional Amendments created as a result of this? Before you go and shoot your mouth off to make a personal attack against Americans because you dislike them, maybe you should do some studying first. Every single thing you suggested has been happening for the last 10 years. As for your argument itself, a good portion of this community is not of legal age to do anything you suggested, so you're saying that they aren't allowed to memorialize it in their own ways? That makes absolutely no sense at all. The next time you call out an "achievement fail", maybe you should check your own statements and make sure you didn't cause a "facts fail" for yourself.

Not everyone has the money nor transportation to physically go out and donate to the 9/11 funds, especially about 90% of those in Argo that are underage. You are talking about being practical, but we are in the middle of a worldwide Recession, and this community is mostly made up of younger users that don't have jobs, so there is no practicality in the argument you just made here. I get your point, but you went way beyond the correct way of stating it.

As for the in-game memorials, the point of the memorial is to remember those lost and give ourselves an inner feeling of peace about what happened by honoring those that had died. It doesn't take money to do that. In-game is just as real as real life. Hundreds of players joining in a video game to celebrate the lives of those lost, and honoring those who rushed in to save them, only to have their own lives taken away, is just as real as gathering in some location in real life and holding events to do the same thing. Behind those characters on your screen are real people interacting with each other. They don't have to be in the same room or area for something like this to be just as real of an event.

No it's not. I come here to relax and not hear shit about 9/11. In my point 9/11 is a political move by the American government causing over a decade of war in ''third world countries''. It was the start of a huge economical empire manipulated by America. Therefore It would also be incorrect to talk about it on the forum or ingame because political discussions aren't allowed.

Not a political subject in your opinion? Then you can at least agree that it would lead to countless, -related- political discussions such as my previous example / own opinion on this.

...And all the other posts you continue to ignore and instead ramble on about 9/11. You keep saying your ''90 percent'' of the community agrees with your ''theory'' but if you would care to listen you would realize that it's the opposite... I count 8 people ( in this topic, the last 2 days only ) being against a ''memorial'' and 1 ( you ) being in favor of one..

Also, a ''crime free day'' was a huge failure last year resulting in the owners / HQ actually closing the event down in the middle of the day...

People play games to escape the real life, to relax and to have fun. If you want to host a memorial, do so outside the virtual world.
I mean no disrespect, but I don't see the point of forcing players to stray away from the fun the game is supposed to give, just to remember something that happened 10 years ago.
