I was telling that people expect miracles on low end PCs, and if he knew my specs he would conclude that the game was patched so now my PC can give its full capabilities. If a person with low end PC patches the game it might eventually give him 2-3 FPS because his PC is still the same.

Urm, I installed GTA IV and I ran it once too find out that I had low FPS,
So I installed IVMP and after that I did the thing Void says too do (The FPS increasing thing)
Now I go too run GTA IV and nothing at all happens

IVMP ruins your IV setup, which is why you have to install two versions - one for singleplayer and one for IVMP.

Yes, when you install IVMP the single player does nothing at all or shows a small error(One letter in the box).

Alright.. I can't even explain it... I've changed 2 cables on my PC today.. Power and data cable of the disc drives.. and I've done an installation in nearly 3 mins...

It holded the Disc one for like 40 secs, and then requested the Disc two, disc two done also around 40 secs.. and then it asked for the first again to complete installation.. That's amazingly fast. Right now I'm installng patches, and preparing to visit IV:MP Argonath .

it would give you an error eventually. Sometimes I had to set compatibility mode to XP SP3

Well since OS is not SP3 I can't put compability to something it does not even exist in OS :P.

Why did I change to XP damn it...

Don't worry, IV should support SP3 - if not then you just have to re-install the game due to changed system and registry files.
