Don't want to derail my thread or anything, let me know in PM why this rule was implemented please. We've been posting much more than 5 images for ages and it was never a problem. Tom's latest post contains 7 pictures when you count the Logo and lines.

We've used our topic for nothing else but to post screenshots in the past 3-4 years, you don't see any of the drama you see on other group's topics. Might as well just lock it if we have to keep adding spoilers every time...

First of all, tell me what passes as "pic". Does the AoD logo and lines count just because they use [ img ] ?

Secondly, I don't mean to judge the task that has been given to you but maybe you should look out for those posts that truly harm the community with their post's content and not to those who try to boost activity showing what the group's latest RP has been about. For real, if the main problem that you have to deal with right now is me posting one or two pics more than allowed without spoilers, I might aswell not try to help with the activity at all.

The paragraph above is pointed to those who can change such a rule, not to those who have been given the task to make sure the board's rules are applied, and can give me a proper reason why the attention of the board moderators is turned to those who look out for the server's activity. As you know SA:MP Argonath, is going through a tough period and starts to reflect again. So if I'm actions hurt your board so badly I truly apologise and won't bother with my screenshots again.

And no, it isn't such a tiring chore to put the spoiler tags, but it's just got my interest how I got to be such a problem that the VC:MP Division Leader had to interfere.

The "why" a rule was implemented is irrelevant, fact is that the rule does stand. It is no different than having the need to follow server rules ingame instead of breaking them and then asking "why is it even there" when you have it pointed out to you.

I personally only counted pictures of ingame, not the logos.

No offense, Kessu, but you should really focus on improving the server's state, which is overall disappointing to say the least. The highest number of players in-game we reached the last week in all servers combined is less than 60. Argonath is decaying.. it's kind of depressing really. Here you are again trying to implement each and every rule from the rulebook you've been given while receiving your forum administration rights.

Right now you are here to make SUCH A BIG DEAL to SA:MP's most active and creative group. "You cannot add more than five pictures". Yeah, like it matters if Argonath is gone for good. We're all here trying to keep the server you got so much authority on alive, so it'd be wiser if you give us a hand instead of pushing us further to the edge.

You shoud along with the rest of the HQ focus to keep the real trash out starting by players that massively shit on Argonath forums recently while they are too busy moneyfarming on other servers. THEY are Argonath's true enemy. Not AoD and not any other SA:MP/VC:MP/IV:MP group in this place. We are both on the same path, yet we keep making a drama out of nothing.

I'm not SA:MP staff. SA:MP server problems are SA:MP staff problems. I can't help a server get better if I do not know how the server works and what kind of players play on it.

Wrong. I'm making a point related to forum rulebreaks that had been going on for over a week with board moderator edits being edited out so the post would once again break the forum rules. The group is irrelevant.

We are both on the same path, yet we keep making a drama out of nothing.

This "drama" was not started by me or any board moderator. Look at the members, including ingame staff members, who broke the rules that are quite specifically stated within the stickied rule topic in this board.


I have said this before and I will say it again, I don't give a rat's ass about what your name is or what your rank is. I enforce rules equally to every single person in this community when such rulebreaks are brought to my attention.

You don't like me being here enforcing rules, stop breaking them. It really is that simple.

Man, it feels like you always chat in codes and sneak behind sticky topics and rules.
However, I can re-phrase. We got bigger fish to fry other than "keep 5 images at a time or use a spoiler" or whatever the actual rule is.

I made a single point, you failed to see it; I'm out.

And for the record, I cannot even remember the last time I've uploaded an in-game screenshot in this place, other than The Market Place. Speaking of which, a recent topic was deleted by Khm because "Starting bids are for auctions. Topic locked".

I get it that you have the final word here but all I am saying is that you should close your eyes on certain situations for the sake of Argonath's survival.
This particular group has RPed on an empty server by themselves and spent their valuable time to keep it going, editing the screenshots as well as posting them here.

Guess what happens if they stop posting screenshots, you'll be constantly browsing an empty forum that all that's there to see is the sticky topics with rules you keep mentioning.

I request to those being part of the SA:MP staff, to better stop following with this senseless drama. You are in no position to argue about the forums rules and how they are being implemented, they go off your responsibilities and far from discussing for the sake of knowing its reason, what I see here is simple moaning.

What kind of staff member you are that you let yourself go and start a beef with another member of this community, despite the fellowship within our team this is something that I will not tolerate anymore. Every moderator, administrator and leader it's an important part of the community, no matter the division they work on and they must be treated with respect, whether if you like the decisions they made or not. The difference of attitude and the way you handle the situations is what has given you the privilege of being part of the team, do not forget that.

The 5 images rule was added for those that decide and wish to visit the forums through their mobile devices and for those who have a poor net connection (Yes, it's 2018 but some people and even some countries are still having this kind of issues). That's why the web team decided to implement the spoiler rule on the images in order to reduce the download timings and leave the images as optional, that way they can read and visit every section without having to wait 2-5 minutes of loading screenshots or even causing a failure connection.

For those saying that the screenshots are to show that the group is active and roleplaying and that they wont be seen if a spoiler is used let me tell you that the post will still be seen in the recent section and those interested in checking it will come and see what's goig on, it's not like the pictures are dissapearing from their sight.
And in terms of activity yes, it is appreciated that you guys want to demonstrate that the group is active and that is giving quality roleplay to the server, that is the reason why you received recognized status, those who really wish to see this for themselves and be part of the change will decide to go in game on their own without having to see tons of screenshots first.
